I read all the cons before purchasing this item, they say the "feet" come off easy. Ive had them for over a month and the "feet" have yet to come off.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Glass Over-the-Burners Cutting Boards:

I bought these due to small amount of countertop space. They are very attractive,, but came with these TALL rubber feet (most likely for a gas stove, mine is electric). I bought some little sticky rubber things for chairs,, they work perfectly, and hold the glass about 1/4 inch above the coils.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Glass Over-the-Burners Cutting Boards:

I am a slave to gadgets and LOVE items that are practical and afford me more storage and use of my space. I like this item because it is attractive while being very useful.
The one thing that I don't like is because the feet are not permanantly attached, they quite often come apart from the cutting board when removed from the stove.

Desperately needed this product ! Moved to a house with electric ring burners (ugh!)= missed the extra "counter space" of a smooth top. This product was on my wishlist for a long time.

Does add needed space
By tlcVerified Purchaser from Beachwood, OH on 8/25/2007

Comments about Lillian Vernon Glass Over-the-Burners Cutting Boards:

I have a small kitchen and was excited about using this product to add space. The drawback is the feet. I assumed the feet would be attached to the boards but they are suction and don't stay on.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Glass Over-the-Burners Cutting Boards:

I bought these to use on a ceramic-glass stove top. It protects the surface beautifully and provides much needed extra counter space. I can still keep one on, and use the other two burners. The only problem I have found is that the rubber feet don't stay on very well. They are too heavy for the suction cups, so they pull off the suction cups when I lift the cutting boards.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Glass Over-the-Burners Cutting Boards:

These cutting boards give a great clean look to your stove. When I have to use a burner I just stack one cutting board on top of the other. Just 2 drawback- 1. the feet are suctioned to the bottom of the boards and many time they stick to the stove when moving the boards. 2. not available in bisque. I have a cream colored stove- would have been nice to have this color as an option. For the most part I'm glad I got the cutting boards, they cover up the stains I can't get off my burners and give me extra work space.
