The canisters look very nice and I love them. Though they say dishwasher safe, I'm hand washing them to play it safe.[...]The blue is so dark that in dim light it almost looks purple. If the option had been available, I would get the set in all yellow but I still love the foursome as is. The hanging holes in the free scoops don't line up while nested, subsequently you can't hang them together. Maybe that's why they're free.

I USE THESE CANISTERS TO STORE TEA BAGS (SMALL), MEDIUM FOR SMALL CANDY, MED LARGE FOR SOUP CRACKERS AND LARGE FOR OATMEAL (PLACED IN A SEALED BAGGIE WITH ONE OF THE SCOUPS) THIS WORKS GREAT SINCE MY HUSBAND LOVES OATMEAL FOR BREAKFAST. THE COLORS FIT MY KITCHEN DECOR VERY WELL. THE SEALS FIT FINE. IF THEY WERE TOO TIGHT IT WOULD BE TOO DIFFICULT TO OPEN THE CANISTERS. THANKS LILLIAN FOR ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT!!

I have owned this set for over 5 years and have no complaints. I love the color & shape. The seals on the canisters are excellent. My daughter broke one of the lids so I need to replace it.

I waited for two years for these to come available. Every time I checked, they were out of stock. But all good things come to those who wait.These are great. Very hefty, great sizes, brilliant, rustic colors. The only con is that the gaskets aren't as tight as they could be. My sugar clumps and the lids are difficult to fit quite as tight as when I first got them. Keep on checking and waiting. As I said-they're worth the wait!

I love the color and pattern of these canisters. I have had them for a few years now and they look as beautiful as they day they arrived. No chips. Wipe down easily. The seal could be a little tighter but I have never had any problems with spoilage or bugs.

Lillian Vernon, please bring back the Mixing Bowls so I may complete my set!

I have the fall leaves set out half of the year and the butterfly set (just like the fall leaves set-offered a couple years ago) the other half of the year. I only use them for packaged "food", the large one is for tea bags, the medium one is for mini candy bars, the 3rd one is for peppermints or butterscotch candies & the smallest one is for koolaid packets. I wash them by hand at the end of their 6 months on the counter. I LOVE THESE, both sets are gorgeous. I have never used the scoops.

Glaze not consistent. The large Blue and the small rust were over glazed and kinda dull you could not see the leaves very well. The 2 middle ones the green and yellow were beautiful. I am sending them back because I know I will not be happy with them. I love the size.

I use the canisters to store other items in.
The colors are great. Looks great in my kitchen.
Purchase the set long before my remodel told my contractor that I wanted to design around the colors.
Hard to scoop out of with the scoops provided. Scoops are sharp on rims and cut myself. Broke one of the lids but my husband glued it and can't tell. Hard to clean with at bottom inside corners.
But.... They look great in my kitchen.

I just fell in love with it. I love fall colors, and once i got this set I incorporated the colors into redoing my whole kitchen, into dining area. The blue is a nice offset color to add just a touch of something else in my scheme. I also bought the coffee cups and mixing bowls. I just love them and they clean very nicely.

THIS ITEM LOOKS GOOD ON THE COUNTER ONLY. NOT REALLY FOR EVERYDAY USE. THE TOPS OF THE CANISTERS DON'T FIT WELL. COULD BREAK IF YOU GIVE TOO MUCH PRESSURE. IT IS BEATIFUL BUT FOR DECORATIVE USE ONLY.

These look great on the counter, but the lids don't fit well. The gaskets are not sized properly, causing the glass to crumble - not exactly food safe! I would recommend only for decorative use.

The design is nice and they match my counter top, however the gaskets are too big and flimsy and don't fit properly. Very disappointed!
And my free scoops were bent;can't use them.

the lids didn't match the cantainer and the fit was very off on two of them I even tryed to adjust the seal to help it fit NO HOPE!!

Since I'm only using them for decoration they're ok, would have preferred a cranberry to the blue(not using that one) but the lids do not fit properly(they don't sit on square or tight)so they're only good for decorating.

I was unhappy with these canisters. They are very attractive, but because of the lip on the top, they are difficult to reach into to get flour, sugar, etc. out of. Also, the lid fit poorly on one of them

Very nice heavy canisters. They are actually a little darker than pictured but a very nice set all the same. And the free scoops are a great plus! They are large and kind of hard to put in the canisters (if you want to fill them full) but will still use them. Very happy with this set, adds a little color to the kitchen!

I fell in love with these canisters the first time I laid eyes on them. I love the colors and the design. The real thing is every bit as beautiful as in the picture, and they are very durable. I also have the matching mugs & bowls. They look fabulous in my kitchen. I regret that the matching spoon rests have been discontinued - if they were still available, I certainly would order one!

Listen, I have been looking for the PERFECT canisters for my getting-ready-to-remodel kitchen for 2 years now. I wanted something that wasn't a fad or overly popular (roosters, ducks, apples) and I FOUND IT. How beautiful !!! The picture makes them look brighter in color than they actually are but they are still magnificent. Hope my review doesn't make them "overly popular" now. Haha.

This is a great canister set. The colors are very vibrant. My kitchen is a mix of Country and Tuscany so I have roosters with grapes. I know, it sounds funny but these canisters fit very nicely. I was surprised at how much they can really hold. I like that they are decorated on all sides so they can even sit out on an island.

I love the fall colors and the design of these canisters. They look terrific in my kitchen. My only complaint is that one of the tops/gaskets is not completely airtight. The top is a little too big.
