Very nice finish, don't have to hide it, holds weight well. Only negatives is that the steps are far apart [3 would have been better] & when on top one ladder is a bit wobbly, so not good for elder person or toddler.

I use it to reach high cabinets with some worry as it sways from side to side when I am on it.

Service & Delivery comments:

It arrived in good shape and I am now trying to reach customer service due to the swaying of the ladder from side to side.

This is the perfect size for my 3-year old to use for a step up to the counter to help me cook, etc.! He loves to see what I'm doing and it's easy for him to fold the bottom step in and out and move the stool to where he needs it. I love that the bottom step folds in for storage, and it is the right height to use as a stool for sitting at our breakfast nook table. It is quality construction and nice looking in our kitchen! I love it.
