I bought this for my toddler to sit on at our kitchen table. The booster seat that he was using was too unstable. He can sit on this and rest his feet on the step. It's perfect! Best yet, he can get up and down without assistance.

Having had our kitchen remodeled I found that the cabinets where much higher than the old ones. When I ran across this step stool in the catalog and it was the same beadboard as my cupboards and looked functional I ordered it. I am very please with the design, the stability and the many functions that it has. I purchased one for my daughter, so her children would be able to reach the counter and get things down safely. She loves hers also.

I have owned two of the oak step ladders for six years. I tried to order one for a friend who had purchased a new home with high cupboards. I initially gave her the white ladder but ended up giving her my oak ladder to match her kitchen: it still looked new after six years of daily use in a kitchen with ten-foot ceilings. As for the "slippery" problem, we simply nailed felt furniture protectors on the bottom.

I had been looking for a ladder to put in my bedroom so that I can reach all of the high shelves in my closet. I really like the look of this ladder - clean design and not bulky. It is light enough for me to carry into other rooms too, but I am buying a second one for my kitchen.

This is a nice looking step ladder but it's just flat wood on the bottom that is EXTREMELY slippery.There are no non slip grippers or anything. Just plain, flat, sanded wood. It's very scary to stand on and my toddler would slip all over.
