This has been the perfect kitchen clock. It is battery powered unlike the stove, microwave etc that need to be reset whenever there is a flicker of power. It has been very reliable. I especially love the French design with arabic numerals. It is allowing me to teach little ones how to tell time with an analog clock that still looks very chic in a low budget French Country kitchen.

I'd been looking for a nice clock for our family room, which, admittedly, was pretty mundane. I like the wrought iron look and have a couple of lamps in wrought iron in the room. So when I saw this clock AND on sale, I ordered it. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the clock when I received it. It immediately added some "class" to the room once hung on the wall with the easy "keyhole" on the back of the clock. It keeps perfect time and has a nice large face and clear numbers which can be read from across the room. And the battery-powered feature eliminates the need for any unsightly cords.

I would recomend this clock for anyone that likes the "rod iron" look. The clock worked great for me in my dining room where I have other rod iron pieces. The ticking seconds are loud but ok in the dining room. I really like everything about it and it keeps the time well with the use of batteries.
