I have been using a colander to drain grapes, berries etc.. This will be much more practical, taking up less space in the fridge.
My only complaint is that it has a beige background, not the light/white color it appears to be on the web site. I will keep it because it is a bargain.

Before I bought this berry bowl, we would use a glass or small bowl, and then we would have to pour the fruit out on a paper towel to drain. Now we just rinse and enjoy. I especially like that the plate is separate...it makes it handy to serve without having to dry the bottom of the bowl. This is a good size for not only berries, but grapes, cherry tomatos and other small fruits and vegetables.

I have to buy two of this bowls one for straberries and one for the blueberries. I just love how cute it looks in the table for a party or for daily use. I love that I can throw the berries in it and washed them right away and be confident that my toddler can grabbed fresh fruit and clean out of the refrigerator.

I read all or most of the reviews and agree that background is creamy and not white and berries aren't really red, which I would have liked, but it is still perfect for me and my kitchen. I haven't put in dishwasher yet as it has been in use ever since I received - I just wash by hand right now!

I love this and plan to order another one. I currently have mine filled with grapes and would love to have another so that I can house grapes and strawberries at the same time. It works well . . . I can wash, rinse and move my fruit to the fridge all in the same bowl. Then, when I'm ready to serve it is already in a pretty enough bowl to put on the table.

This is a precious gift and I love opening my frig and seeing a pretty bowl FULL of fresh berries or grapes! Regarding the review about the colors - My bowl and plate are very vivid so be aware this may vary. My concern is whether the matching plate is large enough to accomidate all the holes in the bowl? (Water spills would not be fun) So far........so good.

Very practical and more attractive than a colander. Good price. True, the actual colors are more muted than in the picture but that doesn't bother me.

What a great value! I am using this sweet little bowl as a display piece. I filled it with purchased faux raspberrys and placed it on a open cabinet shelf in my kitchen. However, I would not hesitate to put it to practical use it if the occasion called for it. I agree with others concerning the need for deeper, richer colors. However, this would not deter me from purchasing it again. Thanks!

This is a wonderful little idea. My only problem with this product is I expected the colors to be as vibrate as they showed up online. Mine came in very pastel, if you look at the picture, the red and yellow (which are the colors of my kitchen) look rich and dark, mine did not come this way, but it's a nice product, only wish the colors were darker reds/yellow and green.

Berry bowl was a gift to me from my mom who also has it. It is very attractive and I am now buying it for my mother in law who saw it and complemented on how nice it was. It is good for grapes, strawberry's, cherries, etc. It has two pieces the bowl and plate.
