This little strainer/colander has some big uses going for it. Handy for straining small amounts of pasta (I wouldn't use it for more than serving for 4),catching scraps from peeling vegetables,rinsing produce-I've even used it to hold flatware when washing dishes. I wash the flatware, drop it in the strainer and rinse them all at once with the sprayer attachment to the faucet. You hit a home run with this one.

It needs to have some padding on the feet to avoid scratching the sink bottom. Still, it's the best that I have been able to find for that purpose.
