Comments about Lillian Vernon 12' Sage Hand-Loomed Cotton Runner:

This is a great rug for the price. It stays in place (even with an active 2 year old and a dog) and only occasionally lifts at the ends. It looks like the picture works well for us. Hard to find a 12 foot runner for anywhere near the price!

I used in my greatroom, which is all hardwood floors. The runner looked great, did not look cheap, as some others I have paid more for but fell apart. I liked that there was not a lot
of backing - usually that is what falls apart when you wash it! But enough was there to hold it in place. I bought this as a weekly special -great price!

This is a great rug and keeps clean. Slips around a bit, but I put a thick rug pad under it so it stays in place. A little ouchie on bare feet, but since I wear sox most of the time, not a problem. Great value & beautiful to look at!

Comments about Lillian Vernon 12' Sage Hand-Loomed Cotton Runner:

If there is "skid resistant latex" on the back of this rug I cannot detect it. The weave, color and tufts of the rug are as visible as the topside and there just might be a little something sprayed on there, as it if had been brushed with a little runny school glue, but it isn't really useful. It kicks up easily. The color and design are pretty, but I need something that will guarantee people don't trip on it and this isn't it. Also it cannot be machine washed according to the label, which you should be able to do with a small rug of this weight and fiber content. [...]

I really like the runner, its pretty and very nice quality. I have it in the living room hallway. Very good buy.

My only problem is I would like to have the same quality & pattern but in another size for the living room area. Ex: 10 x 20 size
I would buy another size area rug of the same.

I've had a hard time finding a long runner for a good price. I am incredibly happy with this one! It looks great, and doesn't move around. It is bumpy, the way it is woven, and feels great on barefeet! You won't find a better rug for a better price!

Comments about Lillian Vernon 12' Sage Hand-Loomed Cotton Runner:

Nice product--high quality. The ends of the rug curl up a little more than I would have expected--hopefully with time they will stay flat. The material is probably a little thinner than I expected, but it doesn't appear cheap. My biggest disappointment is that is says to spot clean with soap and water. I am using this rug in my kitchen and it gets a lot of traffic. Other rugs I have used were machine washable or able to be dry cleaned. It probably won't last as long as I would like it to, but it looks good for now. Good price[...]too.

Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon 12' Sage Hand-Loomed Cotton Runner:

I bought 4 runners to cover a high traffic hallway. They cover hardwoods beautifully, do not shift at all due to the great latex backing, and feel good underfoot. I was skeptical at first when I put the rugs down as they had some visible creasing lines which prevented the runners from laying down flat. This is a condition that is typical of most cotton rugs. But within a week the bunching effect disappeared and the runners lay completely flat. Shipping and packing must have caused the rugs to "crease" temporarily. Have gotten lots of compliments. These runners are great and offer lots of style and protection for a fraction of the cost of other retailers.
