Comments about Lillian Vernon Weather-Resistant, Reversible Area Rug:

I have a stone floor in my kitchen and this rug sort of cushions it. Although it is not sage it does have a silvery shine to it and sort of matches my stainless steel appliances.
I have found it to also resist stains. It is right below my sink and oven and spills have occured. And my Dog loves to lay on it. :)
I have just purchased two more, one for the patio and one for the family room that leads to the patio. I am trying Terra Cotta/Natural this time.
This area is high traffic, and since we use the patio and yard year round, I am hoping this will help keep my floor clear of dog paws and people tracks.
I bought one for my daughter and she also uses it in her kitchen.
I do recommend a washable pad (mildew proof for outdoors)under this rug. And make sure furniture sits on it to prevent blowing away outdoors.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Weather-Resistant, Reversible Area Rug:

Purchased on 6/17/07 for use out on back deck; I live in a condo. [...] Enjoyed the softness of the material at first. But as the month wore on, so did the rug. It became brittle and started to fall apart. If I set my little one on it, tiny plastic pieces would come in on her clothes. I turned it over and I'm using the other side. I've had it less than two months, but I'm sure I'll throw it out before summer's end. It was the biggest waste of money. I'm very disappointed.

I know why this was on sale

Comments about Lillian Vernon Weather-Resistant, Reversible Area Rug:

I bought 2 of these for a summer party on my deck. Within the first 1/2 hour, 4 people slipped on the rugs and I had to remove them. The material seems to be recycled plastic bags, and the rugs are not very thick. Aside from that, the color is not "sage" - more like "chartreuse" or "puke yellow."

I was dissapointed with the material. It is light and doesn't stay down well. The design woven into it doesn't look very clear either. I'm returning this item.

The best thing I can say about it is that it was on sale.

I ordered the sag/ natural thinking it would look like the photo shown (greenish and blue) but the color IS NOT AT ALL like it is shown. The rug is a flimsy material and the color is a yellow and grayish color (see image)
