I noticed all the previous reviews were written in 2007. They must have fixed the problem because mine arrived in great condition. The stems are flexible so I can move the flowers around. The petals aren't smooshed either. I do agree they could have added more acrylic water, but it doesn't matter because the shells are so pretty. I recommend buying this.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Roses and Seashells Illusion Glass Tumbler:

A friend told me about this item, because I am planning a seashell themed wedding. When I saw it, I thought this would be perfect for centerpieces, but I figured I order one to be sure. Thank God I did. I was really disappointed. There was not enough of the acrylic water and because of the way it was packaged all the flowers got smooshed and I can't get them to even look half way decent and I have the item for two weeks now. The roses don't even look like roses. Very disappointed even for a house decoration.

The only negative comment is that there doesn't seem to be any "acrylic" water in the tumbler. Or, at least, it's hard to see.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Roses and Seashells Illusion Glass Tumbler:

I really wanted to love this product and had the perfect place to display it.
UNFORTUNATLY it was poorly put together and the
untrimmed wire stems were just jabbed onto the
top of the arylic in a very unattractive way
and I have not been able to display it.
