Generally I am pleased with the table. I have been searching for years (literally) for a table with a depth less than 10", so this was perfect. The screws were a bit rusted, making assembly a slight PIA. The height of the table is a bit low, it could be higher, as the table is very "petite" looking.

I had another table for my entrance way which I also purchased from Lillian Vernon. It did the job great, but I wanted something that would allow me to put a couple more items on top. This has just the right amount of space on the top to put my lamp, mail sorter (also from Lillian Vernon!), and a glass bowl used to put my keys in. Since I put the table by my front door, I have received compliments from anyone who comes in my house. The only con of this product is that it is more delicate than I expected. My other table from Lillian Vernon is extremely sturdy, so I expected the quality of this one to be more or less the same. I am able to put all my items on it, but I'm nervous that I will come home one day and they will be all over the floor.

I have a sofa that sit's in front of my fireplace and have cat's that like to use the corners as a scratching post. I have been searching for a solution to stop them from distroying my furniture. This table is perfect, as it's size does'nt take up alot of space from the traffic areas around it.

I put the table in my foyer. The glass top shelf and lower shelf allow me to put photos and other decorative items on display.
