The candle holder itself is very nice and attractive. I had ordered the candle holder and candles as a set. The candles were definitely not what I expected. Instead of 2 burgundy, 2 dark green, and 1 gold - I received 3 burgundy and 2 VERY ugly grey candles. I now am searching local stores so I can replace the candles in the colors of green and gold. I am happy with the candle holder, but very dissapointed in the candles. Long story short - order the holder, SKIP the candles, and buy your own locally.

The candelabra was attractive--as pictured, but don't waste your money on the candles! I was very disappointed with the candles and sent the entire set back. The colors of the candles are NOT AT ALL like the picture! The burgundy ones were nice, but the green ones look completely gray and I didn't even get the amber colored candle--I got an extra burgundy one instead. Very disappointing!

I bought one of these somewhere else for 3 times the price and saw this at a friends house. This one is nicer, GREAT DEAL!
It is easy to find candles for when these run out($ store), you can put ball candles on it with decor around the candle bottoms, looks very nice. I change it every season.

This looks beautiful on my fireplace, exactly what I was looking for! But the candles were extremely difficult to put on the holder. The holder has little knobs to put the candles on, but the candles don't have holes, and the wire holder for the wick is right where you need to make a hole at the bottom of the candles. It was very hard to make the hole and the candles don't sit straight on the candleabra.

The holder is great, and the shape of the candles is so pretty, but the color is awful. The "green" candles are completely gray. I can barely tell the difference between the red and amber candles. They both look brown!

The candle holder is a nice quality iron. I bought candles elsewhere, and had no trouble putting them on. The price is a bit on the high side, but it a very attractive peice. One suggestion, put on felt protecters on the bottom of the candleholder to keep the metal from scatching wood surfaces.

The only thing was that my Amber candle was another Burgundy candle and I can't find an Amber candle with similar markings. The blunt ends on the candle holder are just plastic caps that twist right off and the candles slide on the holder very easy. I havent burned the candles as I am just using them for decoration on top of my desk hutch. This is an extremely beautiful item and I am very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the candelabra to put in my fireplace during the summer. I had read the first two reviews and was hesitant about ordering the candles. I did order them and was very pleased. I had no problem attaching them and they burn perfectly.

In some reviews, they say that it has blunt ends and that the candles are hard to get on. Take note...they are not blunt ends, they are protective caps that you need to take off before putting the candles on.

I purchased this for a formal candle lighting ceremony for a school organization. I, along with students and parents, was pleased with the appearance and the price. The blunted posts did pose some difficulty getting the candles on, but once on, they were secure and attractive. I purchased my own candles as we needed ivory. We hope to use this candelabra again for next year's ceremonies.

This looks pretty now that it is set up, but getting there was a pain. The holder has blunt ends, so to get the candles on, you need to drill holes in their bottoms.
Also don't buy the candles. They are useless. The wicks stop burning the minute they hit the candle.
