Comments about Lillian Vernon Bath Safety Grip:

After knee and foot surgery I was unable to sit, pull myself up on my own or stand too long. With the these handles it enabled me to be self sufficient in the bathroom, it doesn't get better than that.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Bath Safety Grip:

I received two of these for a gift. I can relax now and enjoy my shower again. I was so afraid of falling again I started to dread the shower or tub. I check and make sure they are stable each time I get in to the shower and reconnect them tightly. Now I can turn and reposition in my shower chair without the fear of losing my balance. They give me enough support that I am not fearful of the soap on the floor, or getting up off the chair or getting out of the tub. Thank you, cause this is where my friend ordered my gift from.

Careful Placement Does the Trick!
By Grandma Dee from Cleveland, OH on 10/29/2007
Pros:
Easy To Install, Lightweight, Sturdy
Cons:
Slippery
Best Uses:
Children, Disabled, Elderly
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Bath Safety Grip:

This handle works well IF both ends are seated entirely on a solid, non-painted, surface. Before I exit the tub, I check to ensure solid grip. I have had to adjust placement before trusting the handle to grip tightly. Once done, it was fine. My tub edges were too narrow to allow the handle to grip entirely, so I moved it to the tile just above the top of the tub. Be careful not to have it touch any grout lines.

Bought one for my home and I have decided to buy several more for myself and my elderly mother. They are super easy to attach and move about if you don't like the position you placed it. My husband and I both feel safer using it in our shower.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Bath Safety Grip:

Our daughter uses a walker, and needed a railing in the bathroom. I was hesitant to install a permanant grab bar in the antique tile in our bathroom. This safety grip is just perfect! It is sturdy - it doesn't move at all when she pulls on it, and is very functional for her. Also, it won't damage our tile! I am going to buy some more. It is also very reasonably priced.
