Remember those dear little ones each time you use your keys! Handcrafted 1 3/8" x 2 1/4" rectangles have engraved stick figures of 1 or 2 children and are hand-polished to a mirror finish. Silverplate on brass. Slip-on ring.

I've had my keychain for about a year now and I really like it. The names are easy to read still. Maybe I like it because I don't like flashy things and this is a great subtle keychain. I was actually looking to buy a new one since I will need one with three girls on it soon but that's not offered.

I was extremely upset that the engraving was so shallow. You can hardly make out the kids and after a few days on my key ring it was so scratched up that you could not see the kids at all anymore.
Great idea but unfortunately needs some improvement, the engraving is too light. The picture on the website is not what you will get, the engraving is not dark and ver very light.
The engraving is awful!! I should have read the reviews but I was so excited that it was only [$] Now I know why it was that cheap. It's because it looks cheap. Don't get me wrong the key chain itself is pretty heavy duty but the engraving is so light that I had to move my keys around for fear that if the metal ones were close to the design it wouldn't last more than a month. I looked at it today after a week of using it and I am very upset by the scratches because they are just about as deep as the engraving.
My husband gave this key ring to me as a Christmas present. He told me about the reviews that said the engraving was hard to see, but I wanted it anyway. And I am so GLAD that I did. My key ring with my two little girls on there was PERFECT, and VERY EASY to see. And it still looks very good, and I've dropped it a few times on concrete. Very durable and CUTE!!!!
It looks like a plain silver keychain with nothing on it.

I agree with everyone that the engraving is extremely light and hard to see, but I took a blue washable marker and colored over the engraving, then wiped it with a cloth and the marker came off the plate but stayed down in the engraving. This made it much easier to read and everyone that sees it just absolutely loves it. Such a great idea and it gives me a chance to talk about my boys when someone compliments my keychain.
I wish I had read the poor reviews because they are all right!. The engraving is barely there and it broke within a month. Don't waste your money on this.
The engraving is so light you can hardly see it.

You can't see the engraving. When my husband saw it he thought it was blank. I ordered this as a gift and decided not to give it.

Engraving so light you can barely see the names or figures. The picture is VERY deceiving-both of mine broke in just a few days...save your money for something else-it was a good idea, it just needs to be improved upon.

It was part of a gift for Father's day to my husband, and he was disappointed. We can't read the children's name on it. Also, it broke within one week of usage.

This key chain feels durable and is made of nice material, however, the engraving (children and names) was a big disappointment; it was not as deep as it appears in the brochure picture and it is hard to read.

I was so excited when I saw this product online. I thought it would be a perfect gift for my mother and mother-in-law since we have two little boys. I was disappointed when I received the keychains and saw how small and hard-to-read the engraving was. These are nice keyrings. However, the engraving could be deeper so that it doesn't wear off too easily. I did keep the key rings. We'll see how long it takes for the engraving to wear off.

I wish I had read the comments before I purchased. I am very disappointed in the engraving on this item, it is so light you can not even see it.This was a present for my husband when we had our son and it was disappointing.

This looked super cute online, but when I got it I thought they forgot to engrave it! However, it was engraved you just had to "hunt" for it. I ordered this as a gift, but won't be giving it!

I have bought one of these for my boyfriend's mom, my sister-in-law, my friend, and now I am getting one for my sister. The keychain is cute and the recipient always enjoys it!
The engraving is barely visible. You are only buying a BLANK keychain. Pointless. Wish I could get my money back.

I bought this for my Mom for Mother's Day, and I was very disappointed! You can hardly see the engraving of the kids. You have to hold at the right angel to be able to see them. I wish I had read the reviews first. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!

The keychain is adorable but a little bulky. It could be about 1/2 the current size and it would be perfect.

My keys will scratch deeper than the engraving. The image will be lost behind scratches in a few weeks. I wish I'd read these reviews before I purchased this. Cute idea but poor production!

Know lot's of people? Need something for everyone? These key-chains make good gifts for co-workers and aquaintances, especially at Christmas time. Once the gift is given, it's up to the receipient to care for the item. No worries about the wear and tear.

I purchased keychains for myself and my sister. Both of us made the same comment - "The names and picture are hard to see"! Maybe if the characters were colored in with black or a contrasting color it would be helpful. When you just look at the keychain, it looks blank until you hold it up and look at it.

I felt the engraving could have been darker as the engraved name does not show up that well.
I had been looking for a cute, inexpensive, personalized key chain for a long time. I thought I had found one, but I can hardly see the kids and their names aren't even on it. That was the attraction for me in the first place. I am usually satisfied with my Lillian Vernon purchases.

Agree with the others...the engraving is very difficult to see. It has a nice mirrored plate, but would have liked the names to be darker. And maybe try some pictures of pets too???

I was very disappointed at the quality of the engraving. In the magazine, it looks so good, but when I got the key chains, I had to really strain to see the people and especially the names. Again, VERY DIAPPOINTED. Will not order one of these again.

These should be taken out of your catalog, as the picture misrepresents the product. They even arrived with smudges that could not be removed. I should return them, but my grandchildren already know that I have them as a gift from them for their parents' anniversary. This product is not up to Lillian Vernon standards. I read the reviews but still ordered--what was I thinking?

The ingraving was very small and hard to see. From the picture in the magazine I thought the figures were "imprinted" into the metal and just the names were ingraved. I was very disappointed when they arrived and they get scratched up very easily from everyday use on a keychain.

Like the product and the personalizing; needs to be a little smaller and the engraving needs to be darker. I would also like to choose the character on there. I would have chosen a baby instead of a toddler. The clothes need to be different too.

I purchased a key chain with two children on it. The key ring is very cute. A lot of people had complaints about this product, but I like it and may purchase a few more for close family. It is whimsical just as the name describes. I suppose others expect Tiffany quality without paying the price. Yes the names are not blackened but you can still see them. It is a great gift to give Grandma or Grandpa.

Very disappointed with this key chain. I bought two. One for myself, and one was shipped directly as a gift. The one I received I thought was totally blank. I did not realize that it had any etching until I caught it in just the right light at just the right angle. I was so embarrased when I realized that the gift one may be that way too. My friend said it is fine, but I am still not sure if she was just being nice. Mine is definately going back!

Cute key chain, but the engraving was much lighter than it appears in the photo. You can barely see the engraving and I'm sure it'll wear off quickly. I wanted it to really stand out so that people would notice it and see how adorable it was. But, you can barely see the engraving unless I point it out to people.

I would not waste my money on this product. I was so excited about getting a personalized keychain with my children's name on it. It was a Mother's Day present that I requested my husband to purchase. The engraving is so light that you can hardly see it. It is not all what I expected. I will be looking for a different one that has better engraving that someone can actually see.
