I expected these to be thicker and more durable as described in the item details. They slipped right off the stairs from the start, tripped some people, and even the dog had a hard time with them. When the edges started to curl after 3 days use, I promptly returned these.

I purchased 3 sets last October when my daughter rented a house with wooden stairs and her puppy was slipping on the stairs. The stair treads arrived promptly and my daughter was able to install immediately. They have worn well and look great even after washing. Totally not worth the money for these. I bought them for my stairs and within a few days they were sliding all over the place and the seams were coming apart. We tried stapling them to the stairs and even that would not keep them in place. I guess you get what you pay for. We ended up buying the more expensive treads but they have been beautiful, safe and look a whole lot nicer!

I bought these for cleanliness, looks, sound-proofing & so I could run around in my bare feet. They are great. They slip around a bit, but that's ok, I've never tripped yet. I just push them back into place with my foot when they start to slide out.

The stair treads on my slate steps are wonderful in helping my arthritic older dog get up the stairs. I've machine washed them about 5 times so far and they come out looking like new. They're easy to pick up and pop into the machine and dryer and then replace.

These look nice and they do protect my stairs but the backing on them does not keep them in place at all. The longer I have had them, the more they move around. But overall, they are pretty good for what you pay.

Great price for the product. Although they are not very fancy, they absolutely do the job and feel very nice and padded. You get what you pay for with this product. My oak staircase was built and I wanted something fast and inexpensive so we would not slip on the stairs. These treads do the job but you can see that they are cheaply made and flimsy. They are fraying and coming apart already. I have seen more expensive treads but didn't want to pay the price so I opted for these. They do keep you from slipping but I was expecting a little more.

They are very attractive, look nice on the steps and do well in protecting foot traffic up and down. The only bad thing is the backing is not sticky enough to stay put on the step and they need adjusting often as they slide off the steps.

I am not sure how long they will last since I just got them but they are perfect for anyone that has wood/laminate treads and pets. My dog is getting older and has slipped on the steps recently so when I saw these I had to try them. She loves them and they stay in place. These stair treads are functional and work well. The tan color is almost grey and does not blend in well with wood stairs. It would be nice if they came in a more natural-wood looking color and perhaps in some nice patterns.

Great for cutting down on stair noise. Most important, we have an older dog who previously slid on stairs - not anymore. I looked around all over the web and stores for treads to put on my tiled stairs. These were definitely the best I could find and I'm glad I got them. The kids kept slipping and hurting themselves on the tile stairs. These treads definitely stay in place very well - even with 2 adults, 2 kids, a dog, and a cat running up and down the stairs. I got the tan, which is a nice, neutral color. They're a dark tan, which hides dirt well.

The only Con is that the stitching looks a bit flimsy and after a lot of foot traffic and perhaps some washings (I haven't washed them yet) they wear through.

This product does not live up to it’s name. They are constantly slipping, moving, and are a tripping hazard. They also collect dirt extremely quick and look horrible.

I was able to outfit my 12 steps with these rugs in just a few minutes. I love them! We have very narrrow steps going to the upstairs studio and these rugs are a perfect fit. They have reduced the noise. I am very pleased.

They are not the most attractive stair treads ever, but I also didn't have a couple hundred bucks to put a stair runner on my stairs.

Our dog was slipping like crazy on the steps, and had even fallen down them a couple of times. He was getting panicky about steps and often made my elderly mother-in-law carry him up the steps - creating a whole new hazzard. He is no longer slipping and has regained his confidence.

They are secure enough that they do not creat trip hazzards for our children (and mother-in-law) when going up and down.

I purchased these for our main stairway. We have hardwood stairs and have had several slips on the stairs in winter (one or two drops of water is all it takes to make our stairs a danger) and I wanted to make them safe, without have a full runner put in. These certainly do the trick, and they don't slip or move around much at all. Unfortunately, I thought that I would put them through the wash when they got muddy foot prints on them, and some of them have begun to unravel and have the non-slip surface tear, so no more machine washing!

I have owned these at least 4-5 months. I bought the navy blue. They show every bit of dirt, grass, crumb, fuzz. They are very hard to clean. You cannot really vacuum them, as the vacuum sucks them up. You cannot shake them out because the fuzz and stuff sticks to them. The only way I have found to clean them is to brush them with a microfiber duster. Also, with time, the cotton top stretches out and becomes slightly larger than the rubber backing. When this happens, you get bunching. We have 3 kids and a dog. These rugs never stay in place on our wood stairs. Some have been known to fly completely off and end up on the carpet below. I can not recommend these rugs.

We have two polished tile steps up to our jacuzzi tub and needed something that would not slip and absorb the water as we stepped out. Our bathroom is done is white, yellow, green and navy and the navy rugs worked just great! With only two steps will have two more ready when these wear out. I purchased these for the inside steps on our motorhome and was a little dissapointd with the thickness of them. In the picture, they appear to be thick and durable. They are fairly thin and slide on the rubber steps. On the plus side they do a good job of collecting excess the dirt before tracked onto our carpet (when put back into place) and match our motohome perfectly.

I bought these for my little dog who would not come down the stairs. When we installed these, it took some treats, but she finally got courage to face the "big divide." I am happy to report she no longer has to be carried, after 3 years of debillitating independence.~ The only draw back is that the treads are thinner than I expected and the stitching threads show a little. But I am so happy that my dog does not have to be carried ! It's a good buy for the money.

I hard new hardwood stairs installed and I needed something to quiet them when someone steps on them.

The beige turned out to be a bit darker, unlike the photo, it's more of a taupe. If your stairs are smaller and fit the carpet exactly, then they won't move. My stairs are a couple of inches wider than the carpets, so they move after a few days and I place them back. Foot traffic is my husband and I and our lab. They don't slip under footing, so that's good, just slightly over a few days. Be sure to measure!

I bought these thinking "it's temporary while I look for something else", but after having them in place for a few weeks, I have to admit.....They're GREAT! We have 3 dogs and the treads haven't moved out of place since I put them down! Protects the hardwood stairs and provides safe passage. These are attractive and fit fairly well on the tread. We have a curved staircase, so the oval design isn't exactly a perfect fit, but these do provide protection in the heavy traffic area. They work well and stay in place.

My yorkshire terrier(Rolly) had a hard time going up/down the newly done wood stairs.
