Remote control speedboats--non-stop thrills! It's the blue/yellow "Riptide" vs. red/white "Hot Shot"--and the results are in your hands! Easy-grip remotes let you control turns, forward and reverse drive. Each 9 1/2"-long boat uses 3 "AA" batteries. Remotes with safe, flexible antennas take one 9-volt battery each. Batteries not included. Plastic. Ages 3 and up. Adult supervision suggested.

We had a little fun with them but not worth the money. I like something that last longer for my money. Disappointing to the kids.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Remote Control Speedboats:

Might be great if I could get the small screws out of the remotes! They stripped too easily and makes the whole excitement to race in the water disappointing to the kids.

My boys loved it. I only goes forward or backwards. It was very delicate. Used it in a pool and capsized and sank to bottom. Horrible. Waste of money. Wish I had kept my receipt and box to return it.

I bought these for my grandsons and the remotes do not work when dropped in the water, which is not really a good feature since the boats are to be used in the water.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Remote Control Speedboats:

These boats are not too expensive for having fun with, however we did have some trouble when the hand sets got wet, I hope new batteries will cure that. Five year olds can be a bit too careless, but at least at this price it is not a disaster.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Remote Control Speedboats:

the first hour is great with 3 batteries in each, then they take on water and don't stay upright, I feel ripped off and wouldn't have paid this price if I'd known we only get one good use out of them.
