I use these to cover my chaises by my pool. They protect the chair pads from suntan lotions and oils. All I have to do it pop this colorful blanket in the washer in the evening and it's ready the next day for new guests. I just need a couple more and I will have enough for all my loungers.

We have had several of these blankets for almost 2 yrs and love them! My kids use them for sleeping (outside is soft cotton) at night in summer/fall/spring. One of my kids bedwets and often leaks, so I just wash the blankets all the time - they do not take up much room in the washer and have neither faded much nor shrunk. They are lightweight, but not too thin. We also have one on the couch in the living room and sometimes take one outside as bench cushioning. Great blanket!

I bought 2 of these for gifts and after receiving them I want one for myself! I can think of all sorts of uses for this blanket- probably a good thing to just keep in the car- esp. since it rolls up so compact. I can see myself using this for a picnic, at the beach, folding it over for padding on bleachers, covering my car seats when the dog wants to ride, etc.

The blankets were purchased for our family of large dogs, Labs and Bloodhounds. I had used pieces of fleece for them to nap on before, but these are much easier to wash and do not hold the hair in the weaving, as fleece did. We retired people can use them, as well as the "kanine kids" for our nap time each day. Thanks for a colorful and very useful product.

I bought this blanket the week before my husband and I went to Florida. The colors are nice and "beachy" and overall I think this is a great product. The size was fine for 2 people. I do agree with others that the button rope is a hassle to put back, so we just tied it around the blanket. I have no other complaints. Very satisfied.

I bought this to sit on the ground at my son's football practice with my 6 month old daughter. The old blanket that I used would pick up all the dead grass and dirt from the ground and was very hard to clean off before putting it back into the car. This blanket is perfect for the job. The debris rubs or shakes right off and it folds easily into a very compact size to fit perfectly into the car. I'm VERY happy with this purchase.

We used this blanket at the beach everyday this summer and it's great. It's super lightweight (my 2 year old son carried it to/ from beach), dries quickly, folds nice and small, washes easily and still looks good after a long summer at the beach. The straps make it easy to carry or hang on a hook (but are a little tricky to close at first). It's good for one adult or 2-3 children. A good buy!

I would recommend this to a friend, providing I tell them to get two, as it is not as big as shown in picture and definitely not very thick.

This is a great mat to take to the park or the beach. It is big enough for more than one person. It is just thick enough- but still very light to carry. The handles make it very convenient!

I have another fold up blanket we take on outdoor concerts and to the beach. I prefer the one I have. It zips and much easier to secure than the button one. I will use it but I wouldn't purchase another one of this kind. I don't plan on using the button secure feature because its to hard to get back on and takes longer than the zip one I already had. Plan to use something else or not secure it. Very disappointed in this item.

I've been looking for a blanket I can use at the beach or just outside with the kids. This is perfect. It rolls up easy and stores away nice on a hook. I grab it as I go out the door and slip it over my shoulder. It opens easy and lays flat well. When I'm ready to go, I shake it and roll it up. Great buy!

The blanket is overall a good buy. It is a thick quilted material (but not heavy). My negative would be that rolling it up and buttoning it is extremely hard. I would prefer to tie some straps instead of a button.

We love this blanket! We have 5 kids and we have 2 of these blankets. Two blankets fits us perfectly, everyone has loads of space. We keep them in the car at all times. We live in "sugar beach" area of Florida. The sand is super fine. It adheres a little too easily to this fabric and does not wipe off easily. Otherwise, it is a great buy.

This is a great blanket and worth the money. The only negative comments I have are; it's not as big or thick as I expected (can fit me and my daughter, not really 2 adults) and the straps are not attached so it's a seperate item to remember/take care of/lose. I don't use the strap and just keep the blanket folded. The buttons on the strap are not easy to use either. However, all in all, it's a good purchase.

50x70 makes you think it's really big, since it's supposed to hold two people. It should say two children. Straps are easy to put on...you just have to lay them out button side up and roll the blanket tight.

The photo is misleading. It looks like a nice thick quilt. In fact, it is thin and you'd be surprised how small it is when it is rolled up. I will still try to use it on the beach. I hope it holds up.

Good value. Handy and useful. Color will fade fairly quickly and it will show fraying on edges due to it's being 100% cotton, but should otherwise hold up well.

I think it is pretty practical, I think for the beach instead of solids maybe add some print to it, flip flops, flamingos, palm trees and then a plain color on the reverse.

Careful, the red one bled in the wash and unless you leave the straps buttoned, it can be complicated to get the blanket back together. I haven't washed the blue one yet, but I'd definitely recommend keeping it separate. Other than that a nice size for toting in my trunk.

I like the fact that each blanket has two colors. Great for using as a baby mat when need to have safe & clean area to move, etc.. While not heavy like a moving cloth (I had hoped), it is stiff enough that it stays in place for the most part. Easy to toss in regular wash though. It's VERY light in weight, which also makes for easy carrying. We use them on bike trips to the park. They fit very nicely under the bicycle trailer seat and add almost nothing in weight. Easy to shake off sand, leaves, cracker crumbs, etc.. Overall, good buy!

I was disappointed with the size of the blanket and the straps. The size seemed to be much larger in the picture. While 2 people can fit on it, I wouldn't say that it's a comfortable fit.
Also the straps are not attached to the blanket and it's hard to roll up the blanket in the certain way that it needs to be in order for the straps to fit good.

Good product, but I was definately disappointed with the smaller size and hard to use straps.

I bought this for when my grandchild comes over. He is an infant and this is great for when we are all sitting in the family room, all I have to do is pull it out of the cubboard in my family room and place it on the floor. There is plenty of room for him to roll around. The best thing is when everyone leaves, I simple have to fold it back into place and put back in the cubboard. It is always handy for inside or outside. It feels nice to the touch. Also, it is great that me and my husband can throw it in the backseat of the car when we go on vacation. Great idea.

Since buying this for the beach we have used them ( I bought 2 originally)
everywhere- beach, lawn, to protect the furniture when the kids rough housing. We use them over air matresses to keep that chill from seeping thru. They have been washed dozens of times and they still look like new and are so soft. At the beach they work much better than beach towels. We are going on a big family vacation (17 are going) so I have ordered four more. Thank you, Linda

The straps need improving. It took me a while to figure out how to put them on. But, the blanket served its purpose at the beach for my two teenage daughters. It was bright enough to spot it from down the beach.

I didn't realize that the straps come completely off until its first unfurling. When I tried to roll it up, I must not have done it the right way, and tugged and strained until I got the strap on again (reminded me of folding a map - it's never as good as when first opened). I ended up pulling one of the buttons loose. [...] making the straps semi-elastic would help.On the plus side, it is very lightweight & portable. My 3-year old felt very big, helping us by carrying the blanket on our last outing.

When I looked at the picture of this blanket, it appeared to be about the size of an actual quilt that 2 people could comfortably lie on. The fact is, it is only large enough to hold one beach towel. It is very colorful and appears to be well made, but had I known how small it actually was, I wouldn't have purchased it. I feel that the picture advertising this product is very deceiving. Measure out the dimensions before purchasing and don't rely on the picture.
