Yes, it's true that this pool is not as roomy as pictured. However my grandchildren ages 9 months up to 7 years (4 of them) had a fun time in this pool (not all at once). It's design is inviting and the older boy turned one of the slides upside down and rode on it like a speed boat. It stayed fully inflated for over a week and needed just a little more air. It was fun to watch them enjoying themselves! Good buy.
