This rack works perfectly to solve the problem of newspaper/paper recycling before it goes down to the garage and out to the curb. No more paper piles sliding all over. I read a couple of comments that said it wasn't sturdy. I think it is plenty sturdy enough to hold the papers (even when full). I'm wondering if maybe they tried to carry it around full? I bring the recycling bin upstairs and transfer into it every week. I'm glad I got it.

This newspaper holder solves an unsightly problem I had - what to do with newspapers before I had enough to recycle them. It went together easily, is very sturdy and pretty enough to put in my living room.

I put string in the bottom of the holder, tying it to the sides, so when the time comes to prepare the papers for recycling, all I have to do is tie the ends of the string and lift the papers out!

No more newspaper clutter while waiting for the bi-weekly recyclng pick-up. The unit holds about two weeks worth of newspapers. To make recycling easier we lay two pieces of string (E-W / N-S) in the bottom of the rack prior to adding the newspapers so its a quick bundling on recycling day and out the door the papers go.

I love the design and the concept! However, the construction was not so good. On one the side the metal broke. I still use it though. I put that side on the wall. It is not big enough for me either. i would like to see it a little bit deeper. Not very durable, but I did find a way to make it work.

The newspaper holder is convenient and perfect for its intended use. I was disappointed however, in the construction of the item. The assembly instructions were easy, but the side arms do not stand perfectly straight up as in the photo. The assembly pieces do not allow for correction of this leaning effect. Therefore, until the newspaper holder is completely full, the side arms lean inward and do not create a perfectly square appearnce. Never the less, it is still a beautiful piece - just slightly imperfect.
