Even though i live in the country, i use this autumn swag on the small mailbox next to the extra large one. I love the colors & all the items that make up the swag. The Velcro is extra strong, it has been well tested, i add extra wiring, living on top of a hill gets pretty windy!
just to help hold it,I don't want to lose it! i am sure in town it would not be a problem. The only problem is the sun fades the colors after a time, there is not much to be done about that,i don't imagine. Have enjoyed my swag for several years. it is well constructed to withstand the strong winds,rain,& even snows!

I was so disappointed when fall was over and I took it down, all the fake berries were split open as they were made of styrofoam-which does not belong outside. The colors had really fadded from the sun. I had thought about sending it back so they could see how it does NOT withstand being outside all season but I didn't. The velcrow straps made it very simple to attach to the mail box, but they were white and really stood out around the mailbox, beige would have been less noticeable.

I've purchased 3 mailbox swags,St Patricks,July 4th and Christmas. I've had the same problem with all of them. They are not weather resistant. Just one rain and the colored berries are white. It ruins the look of the swags. I'll not purchase another one.

I installed this on my outdoor mailbox. The bow that came with it was not the same as is shown. No big deal. But after our first rain, the coating on the acorns, berries, etc. turned into gelatinous goo and fell off leaving the white styrofoam forms. It is no longer attractive at all. I am going to try to get a refund, as the description states it is weather-resistant.

I received the swag as a gift... It is lovely! Before adorning my mailbox, I gave it a few light coats of polyurethane. This sealant made it resistant to the weather extremes of the Mojave desert. It reminds me of autumns of yesteryear in PA...

This is beautful, but not for outside weather. So I have other uses for it. I learned the hard way like alot of other buyers have. I bought a xmas mailbox swag and the weather ruined it. So now it's just indoors for me with these mailbox swags.

This swag is really beautiful - full and colorful, really brightens up a boring mailbox for the fall season. For the most part, it IS weatherproof as they say...the leaves and ribbon don't get messed up even from driving rain. BUT, the berries that were once gold are now all white...their color has completely wiped off from rain. A bit disappointing, but for the money, I absolutely love this swag, I love seeing it every time I pull in my driveway! Oh, and it matches perfectly with the "autumn wreath."

I loved this when I received it but after one rain, the color came off of the berries. I am very disappointed in this. This should not have happened since it is meant for mailboxes and mailboxes are outside in all kinds of weather.

What a delightful swag, and I was able to fit it on a mailbox that is a square shape! It took a little bit of work, but it looks beautiful. I live in rainy seattle, and it seems to be holding rather well too.

The swag started to fall apart after a lite rain. Not sure how it will hold up under a downpour?

The swag is pretty but the color has already worn off the berries and now I am left with white styrofoam showing. Also the white strap really shows too much

VEry pretty on my mailbox. The only negative thing about this product is that I have it on my mailbox because of some showers the berries and pumpkins are loosing their colors.

While one would assume that a mailbox swag would be for outdoor use, the faux fruits (especially the berries) got ruined after one light rain. I don't want to see what this will look like after a downpour.

I spray painted the white strap green to match my mailbox so it looks great.
The orange covering on the balls dissolved in the rain but it still looks great.
I have the Christmas one too and get compliments all the time

I made a great purchase...even better because it was on sale! The fall swag looks great on my mailbox. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the white velcor strap used to hold it to the mailbox. The strap works great, but the white really stands out.

I was pleasantly surpised at how large and full the swag was. It looks great and was easy to put on. It stays secure. It has rained several times since I put it up, but it still looks as good as new. I am very pleased with the purchase. I'm sure similar items at local stores would be twice the price.
