Not as cute in person, still an OK buy.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Hatching Eggs Basket:

I bought this for my daughter's first Easter basket since she will only be 7 months old. The toys are the perfect size for her little hands to grasp and in a few months I'm sure she'll enjoy putting them in and out of the eggs. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I saw it in the store - not as cute in person.. the basket is flimsy and the eggs don't shut all the way. But I do think it's enough to entertain my daughter and that was the whole point.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Hatching Eggs Basket:

My mother ordered this and the Kitty Kennel for my 3yr old daughter and she absolutely loves them both. I read the other reviews but we ordered anyway and I'm so glad we did. She has so much fun with it, and she doesn't care if the handle doesn't stand up (it's a stuffed handle, nothing hard inside it) and she doesn't care if some of the eggs don't close completely (they velcro closed but you can see inside around some of the edges - they are stuffed eggs so I doubt there's any way around this). She loves it all and has played with it every day since she got it. I think these "cons" really only matter to adults. ;) I have already recommended this product to other friends. Great deal for the [$] price! And a great gift for any little animal lover.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Hatching Eggs Basket:

What a fun toy! I think my daughters, ages 5 and 2, will really enjoy this for Easter. They will like discovering what's inside each egg, then hiding each toy again. The toys inside are not intricately detailed or anything, but they are cute and are nicely shaped. The basket is soft but stands up fine on its own and fits all the eggs inside.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Hatching Eggs Basket:

The eggs don't close completely and the basket handle never sits upright. The toys are cute that are inside the eggs, but it seems they are just a bit too big. They look sort of 'funny' and I can imagine they'll be hard for our little one to assemble for quite some time. In the picture, it appears the basket is smaller than it actually is. That is the only part that is big enough to hold the contents of what it is meant to in this product. Good idea though just needs better tailoring.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Hatching Eggs Basket:

I thought this would make a nice basket for a infant, but its rather flimsy and the eggs dont shut completely. Its cute when the eggs are opened though. Not sure I would buy another one, we'll see after granddaughter gets it.
