I purchased these stockings a couple years ago and came to order another for our new grand baby. I just love how they look on our mantel and was going to order a few more for the baby and the possibility of our family growing again in the future. After reading the other posts I am afraid to order because they have changed the size and detail. I am very disappointed and don't know what to do now. Please rethink the workmanship in these stockings.

I just ordered the sixth stocking in this set for my family. We started with this set in 2000 and have continued adding a stocking with each new child. Three of the ones I have are no longer available, and yet until this year, they all matched perfectly in size and style.

This year, however, I ordered the new Deer & Tree and the stocking I received is NOT the same! The description in the catalong and online matches the previous stockings exactly--but NOT the one I got this year. It is NOT 7 1/2" x 17". It is an entire inch smaller all the way around. The "cuff" is 1 inch shorter as well.

This difference is noticeable. Just as we pulled it out of the bag, my 11 year old daughter commented that it was smaller, and we hadn't even held it against the others to compare.

There is also piping along the entire length of stocking. None of the others have piping. I could live with that if it was the only difference, but the length and width is incredibly noticeable.

Customer service was of no help. "Sorry, that's how they make them now."

I have loved getting additional stockings in this set for each new child, but I am soooo disappointed that after ten years of making consistent stockings they decided to change it, and not for the better. The new stocking is no nicer than the others, just smaller.

In fairness, the stocking seems to be of the same quality. They are all very attractive stockings and the previous five look lovely hanging above the fireplace.

The only problem I've had with the previous ones is the hanging loop--I've had to re-sew three of them. But you know how tempting it is to young children to check the stockings early. ;)

I love the five that I have. But I am very disappointed in the change and the lack of any reference to that change in the description.

If you are ordering stockings to match some from previous years--BEWARE!

I had ordered a stocking from here last year for my son and it was beautiful! So, I decided that this year I would also get one for my husband and I and also my 3 month daughter. The thread in the embroidery of our names was frayed on mine and my daughters. My husband's was back ordered and when I received it I was furious! You can very clearly see where a C had been embroidered on it and then taken out and was then embroidered with Dad. It looks horrible!! It looks like it was something I would have got at a dollar store! I really expected much better quality for the price. Had I known the outcome, I would have either used the stockings from last year or ordered elsewhere. Very unhappy and do not expect to buy anything here again!

Love setting the reindeer and sleigh on our fireplace mantle with greenery behind them. They look like they are coming right out of the woods. Going to add an Angel for our first Grandbaby. So glad to see they're still available.

My three daughters have enjoyed their beautiful stockings for years. My 24 year old has a serious boyfriend. When I ordered his stocking, I never thought that it would not be the same size. Now it looks mismatched hanging on the mantle with three smaller stockings. What a disappointment.

I really like the quality of these stockings. what i hate is how they have changed the design. i have 6 stockings for children and grandchildren. i now have a new member of the family and his doesn't match. i wish you would offer both styles so those of us could finish our collections. if i had known this item would be deleted i could have ordered a bunch and had them monogramed at a later date.

I bought these last year when they were on sale for everyone in our house and I'm SO glad that I did. I absolutely LOVE them!! They are hung right by the front door and we get so many compliments on them!!! They're very good quality and I love them!!

I ordered these stockings for my family for Christmas 2006. I am very pleased with the quality. They were exactly what I was looking for. I was happy with the designs we chose and they were the best price for high quality stockings. We had another baby this year and I am so glad that I can order her the same style of stocking. Some of the other stores I had looked at have changed their stockings so I wouldn't have found the same style. That is very important to me.
