Great design. My 7 year old loved it, especially since the nose lit up. The construction isn't the best - the handle came off right away and I had to secure it with a safety pin.

My 5 year old like the bag and it is cute and lights up. Two things I would like to see improved. Directions on how to turn on the lights (needed to call customer service to find out-- you squeeze the nose) and better construction. The handle already feel apart (its not Halloween yet) and I need to fix it.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Ghoul Treat Basket w/ Light -Up Eyes:

The handle broke quickly after my son put some Legos in it. It was easy to sew, but now the blinking lights don't work. My son doesn't play rough with it. It's just a shame the lights didn't make it to Halloween.

As soon as my nephew took it out of the box the handle broke and we had to superglue it. I bought 1 of each of the other designs (except Frankenstein) and did not have that problem. Otherwise it was creative with the light up eyes.

I bought this basket for my son for Halloween. It is very cute, a nice size and the eyes light up. It is entirely soft. The personalization if felt that is glued on, so I don't know how long it will last. A great value for the price.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Ghoul Treat Basket w/ Light -Up Eyes:

Last year I bought the pirate version and my son who was dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow. It was the cutest thing ever! Needless to say, my friend's son was envious of Dakota's cool trick-or-treat bag, so when the bags became available again this year I purchased the ghoul with the light-up eyes for her son. Now they'll both attract attention! (We also own the pumpkin version & I bought the cat as a gift for my friend's daughter - didn't want to leave her out)

Comments about Lillian Vernon Ghoul Treat Basket w/ Light -Up Eyes:

None of my childs name is embroidered. It is felt!!! Nothing on it is embroidered. I bought this thinking it was going to be embroidered so I didn't think the price was bad. We don't know how to get it to light up or how to change the batteries, there were no directions. And to top it all off it is now on sale. I was told they never put their stuff on sale because they sell it year round.
