Comments about Lillian Vernon Princess of Camelot Costume - Child & Infant:

My 3 year old loves this dress! The only drawback was the length. We had to cut several inches off the bottom but since I am so accustomed to things being too small - I am not sure that I should even complain about that! We were able to put a turtle neck and shirt on underneath with jeans and sneakers and wear this out in the brisk evening air.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Princess of Camelot Costume - Child & Infant:

The catalog picture of the two girls together was what sold this for us - my older daughter was excited to share her vision for Halloween with her little sister. My girls are thrilled with their matching princess costumes, even though I find the not-quite-attached sleeves a bit cumbersome and I cant get them to wear the elastic string hats for more than 5 minutes. Oh well - if they're happy, so am I!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Princess of Camelot Costume - Child & Infant:

I bought 2 of these - one for my 4 year old and one for my 2 year old. They are really adorable and original. The 4 year olds had a white slip underneath (as it looks in the picture) The one for my 2 year old did not. Therefore, you can easily see her diaper. I just put some white bloomers on her and I plan to put her in tights on Halloween, but without them, you can see right through the skirt. I joked with my husband that it was like toddler lingerie!

I ordered 2 for my daughters who are 1 & 3 1/2 years old. The costume is very orginal in my opinion and so cute! It was exactly what I expected and the quality, for a Halloween costume, was perfect.

I was very disappointed in this custome. I was expecting a nice warm custome with a white underlay. This custome is sheer netting that was not worth what was paid. My daughter ripped it the first time I tried it on her.

don't get this costume. It does not look near as pretty in person as it does in the picture. It did not come with the hat and they wouldn't send me one. It's see through so i had to put something under it and it looked stupid.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Princess of Camelot Costume - Child & Infant:

I was so excited to find this costume, and when I finally received it I immediately put it on my daughter. Once I saw it on, I was so disappointed, it didn't look anything like the picture. First, it's entirely see through. How can she go outside with it like that? The picture shows you with a slip-that apparently doesn't come with. It also didn't "poof" like the picture shows. Don't waste your time on this one, it looks much better than it is.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Princess of Camelot Costume - Child & Infant:

I have purchased many costumes from Lillian Vernon, but I was disappointed with this one. The material was very sheer and was poorly sewn together. I expected a higher quality product, but this costume did not meet my expectations. Would not recommend this.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Princess of Camelot Costume - Child & Infant:

I was VERY disappointed in this outfit. The picture shows what seems like white underneath the sleeves and skirt. When we received this, the sleeves and skirt were shear and see through. I will have to find a skirt to put under the netting so you can't see her legs and diaper. Very poor and cheap construction. Will most liking return it.

Very cute but not what I expected.
By Nayj1Verified Purchaser from Redwood Valley, CA on 9/25/2007

Comments about Lillian Vernon Princess of Camelot Costume - Child & Infant:

One of the appealing visuals of this costume in the infant size is the full skirt shown in the picture. It appears sturdy with a lot of give in its shape for little walkers. In person, the skirt is not any different than the older child's costume. That is a little disappointing because of the maintenance involved. The skirt has to be trimmed to fit my 1 year old or it hangs over her feet. That's not safe for a barely walking toddler. My options were to buy a petticoat to make the skirt more full and less flimsy or just trim it and let it hang like a regular dress. I tried the petticoat first, but it didn't make much difference. The costume is cute but the misleading photo created a lot of extra time and effort into "finishing" this costume that I didn't appreciate.
