The costume is one-piece and fits tightly. We found that our son could wear the costume with his clothes on underneath. However, he had to take off his shoes before putting on the costume. When he did not, his foot became stuck in the costume and he had to start all over again, causing much frustration. Once the costume was on, he was the happiest kid with a cape!

AWesome quality superman costume! Not made like the cheap ones you find at [...]. I had one from [...], and literally fell apart in a week. My child like to wear costumes when playing, and this one holds up. The cape just gomes around the neck, and flops around. A piece of Velcro will fix that problem. Great product!
