My daughter wore this on Halloween and everyone commented on how cute she looked. She loved feeling pretty and wearing the tiara. The tiara fit without needing clips or anything else. Some people said the tiara was cheap, but we liked it better than the plastic/metal ones we've had in the past. The wings completed the outfit. She wants to wear it again next year.

The design is lovely and unique. I saw some younger girls with a version bought at [...] but Lillian Vernon's costume seemed to be of higher quality. My 4 year old was very happy to wear it for Halloween. I bought a bigger size than she ordinarily takes since I've had some bad experinces with costumes in general running small. I had to pin the wings onto the dress to keep them from flapping and falling off. I spot cleaned the dress with a wipe but haven't tried the washing machine yet. I would recommend it overall.

My daughter is 7 and loves the Barbie movies. I did buy the bigger size after reading the reviews. Her's ended up being a little large, but ok. She is pretty slim. The dress has not gotten one rip and she wore it to a school party, a tea party, then to school, and to our church celebration. Much better than other costumes we have had in previous years. The crown did arrive a little crushed, I ironed it flat and it was great!

A friend of mine gave me a great tip for cleaning these kinds of dresses. She said to put it in a lingerie bag and wash on gentle. I will be doing that, but any other use at this point is just fun.

My daughter,age 4, loves this costume. She got a lot of compliments on it when she went trick-or-treating. It fits her well but there is still some room for growing.

My daughter usually wears a 5 or 6, but I bought the 7/8 size after reading the other reviews. It's a little too big through the shoulders but the length of the dress is good and the sleeves are ok. The peacock feather attachment does not stay upright, but leans back which my daughter didn't like and will no wear it. I had to take it in around the ruffle at the top and then I had to use a safety pin around the neck in the back. Overall, I was disappointed in the quality of the dress, but it's the costume that my daughter wanted for Halloween and it's better quality than the one I saw at a local retail store.

One would think that a [$] costume would run somewhat true to size. Not so. Sure enough I had to dissapoint my daughter when it arrived because it couldn't even be pulled over her head. So sad.

Of course all the little girls want to be the new Barbie character and this costume is fairly close to the movie. As stated in other reviews it does run small, which is disappointing since that is just less time for my daughter to enjoy this as part of her dress up wardrobe. For the money I'd have liked her to be able to play with it a while, but in the dress' defense, it is MUCH higher quality than a similarly priced princess dress we bought last year from a different costume catalog. The tiara thing is very cheap and cheesy but the dress itself is fairly well made. Not sure how it will wash yet. I don't have high hopes for that since no dress like this has every held up well in the wash, but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there. My daughter is delighted and that counts for a lot.

Price wasn't worth the quality. Size was 6-8 my child is 6-8 and this outfit was tight and hard to get off. Fabric felt and looked really cheap.
