Had to return the next day. The chain on the handcuffs snapped in half literally after 2 min of playing with it and the glasses broke in several places within an hour. The hat is also too stiff to actually get it on your head.

My Grandchild & I can play this for days at a time. I got this for Robbie (5 Years old) at Christmas. We still play with this a couple of times a week. Robbie would not take the uniform of except for sleeping or bathing for a few months.

The hand cuffs broke in the first 3 weeks (Adult older brother was showing off.)we just put yarn to connect them and we still had the same amount of pleasure. The whistle also broke (same older brother.)

If you are looking for something that looks like a real uniform and acessories. (Costing at least a couple hundred dollars.)this is probably not for you but if you are looking for a toy that enhance your child's imagination this is toy for you.

I have been arrested many many times & have had a few prison breaks. The tickets are mostly scribles (with Robbie mumbling what he is writting.) but a few times he has someone write them out for them. My worst offence was "I was walking to slow"

This is the perfect toy to play with your child or to let your child play with himself or with other children. It has been perfect for me to be able to talk with him about being a responceble member of scociety, whats fair and not fair, What rules we all have to follow...

I would get 2 so that you always have 1 for your child and a second for his(or her) playmate.

My six year old son was excited when I ordered this outfit but I was disappointed when I actually saw it in person. The vest is too small and it's made out of a flimsy plastic material that should be handled with care. The accessories were things I could have purchased at the dollar store. The bottom line is this was not worth the money but to a six year old it was the best gift ever.

Got it and sent it right back the next day. Even my three year old said he wouldn't wear it cos it was "itchy and the hat was hard". Not worth the money.

We are using this police costume for Halloween. The Police bag will make a great trick or treat bag. The hat is adorable. The chain on the handcuffs broke the first day so we had to re-rigg them together. They are not very strong considering their intent! My son is very excited to be a policeman for Halloween.

The hat was not sewn together when we received it, so the badge does not stay on. My son loves the outfit for halloween, but at almost [$], I could have definitely found another better quality costume. Also, the handcuffs broke the day after we got it.

This looks so much better in the catalog. The model in the catalog has the perfect shirt, shoes and pants. When you get the item, it's a lot of cheap police things that you could get in the dollar store. The hat barely fits my son's head. I would not recommend this purchase.

My son loves this kit, but the vest seams came apart easily and the handcuffs broke also. The hat is adorable and the little ticket book and pencil are a great accessory. The duffle it comes in is good quality and nice for keeping everything together.

This is definitely not what I expected...the picture was very misleading. I intended to have my 4 year old son use it for a halloween costume this year (& for my 1 1/2 yr old a fireman costume - but this site was sold out). However, it is definitely too flimsy & cheaply made. The hat is not right...it digs into his little head as well as my 1 1/2 yr old's. The only part I like about it is the little bag & the things that come with it (handcuffs, tickets, badge, etc). We plan on using it for pretend play (sans hat), so we don't feel as though it was a total waste of money. The doctor's kit is definitely cute & worth the money though!

My 4yr old loves it but we have only had the outfit for a little over a week and the vest has ripped. The glasses and flashlight were broken when we got it and the handcuffs broke a few days later. I am very disappointed for the money. The hat is the cutest except the badge keeps on falling off.

I bought this item for my 5 year old son. We were looking for Halloween costumes and this appealed to my son. However, now that we've received the item, I have to say it's of very poor quality. The plastic vest and hat will not last very long. Our experience with this kind of material is that it rips/tears after a few uses and cannot be repaired. We'll keep it for dress-up and imaginative play, but it's not a very attractive or realistic costume for Halloween.

I have two boys, 4 and 2, and they are very tough on toys. Even though this outfit set is plastic, the construction is excellent and durable and the parts that are plastic are not flimsy. An amazing price for the set. LOVE the elastic-back hat. The best part is that it all fits in the bag and can be put away without getting lost or taking up a lot of space.

My 4 yr old absolutley loves it, but I think it's cheaply made. The badge on the hat keeps falling off and my son gets frustrated. The handcuff chain has broken twice (not strong enough for a boy who loves to play). The sunglasses were the worst - didn't want him to wear them thinking they would make him cross-eyed. It should be priced at a dollar for each piece, therefore $10 for the set. Similar quality that you could find at the Dollar Store where everything's a dollar. But it does allow for very creative play on my son's part and he loves it. Just wish it were a little higher quality for durability.
