Think scaring people is cool! Looks like death warmed over in a long black poly cloak that's slashed to expose rib and neck bones. Repugnant vinyl mask with wispy hair and nylon and molded vinyl gloves enhance his eeriness. Imported.

This costume looks nothing like the picture, and the chest and fingers fell off the fabric with the first wearing. Definitely a poor choice.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Creeping Ghoul Costume - Child:

This costume looked nothing like the picture. The color in the picture appears to be a white mask and the actual color is a putty color. Most importantly, there was wet, tacky glue around the mesh eye holes that could pose as a safety concern for anyone wearing this mask. In addition, the size 8-10 only came to my 6 year olds knees.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Creeping Ghoul Costume - Child:

The moment we opened the box, we noticed that the picture on the front was much different than the one shown in the catalog. The costume was made from flimsy material which caused it to rip upon trying it on. The plastic on the mask had a strong odor to it and was poor quality. The hands pieces were much different than the ones pictured in the catalog and the size we ordered(large) could barely allow my son to get his hands in.

Not worth the price

Comments about Lillian Vernon Creeping Ghoul Costume - Child:

This costume was definitely not worth the asking price. It arrived with things falling apart. I will have to do much sewing in order for my son to be able to wear it, which is what I was trying to get out of this year. As already mentioned, the gloves are very small and therefore do not pull on completely. Also, the neck does not fall right and I have had to alter it a bit so that it will look remotely close to what is pictured. I am very disappointed!

I read the comments from previous user about the stickyness of the costume & thought maybe she just got a bad one. So I went ahead and ordered. I also got a terribly sticky one. Not sure I can even clean it. The mesh covering the eyes is all misaligned and put on sloppy. Also the gloves aren't at all like in the picture, they are much smaller and not as long looking. The "openings" on the gloves are so small I can't see my 10 yr olds hands fitting in them. They look like they wouldn't even fit his 4 yr old sis. Definatley would not recommend.

My son tried this on and it tore around the neck. We will have to glue or sew it before he can wear it for Halloween. You would think for the price it would last pass trying it on.

"Needs some doctoring."
By Candy momVerified Purchaser from Ft. Thomas,KY on 9/10/2007
Cons:
Poor Construction
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Creeping Ghoul Costume - Child:

Fun costume but the mask had sticky glue all on the inside and got all over my son's face. My husband had to remove the mesh covering the eyes, clean off all the adjesive and then reapply the mesh. You may want to check others, the glue could end up in a child's eye.
