I bought this for my 2 and 1/2 year old. I knew that it would be long on him, but after trying it on, I see I can pin it at the shoulders. It's very cute, and who can complain about the[$] savings?! So, if you have a little one like me who loves trains, don't be afraid to get this. I can see that it would totally fit a child size 3 to 6, just as the size implies.
