It's a cute costume, however if you are spending [$] on anything it shouldn't be constructed with paper. The underside of the skirt has paper, as well as the pom poms are made from paper.

My daughter had this costume last Halloween and I'm surprised to still see it available. It is VERY thin and is not sewn well at the seams. I knew it would not be something she would have later for her "dress-up" box. She had a few parties to attend and the costume was destroyed by the time Halloween came around~fortunately, it was dark out. I had to take off parts of the costume because areas were hanging and it was too difficult to sew. Look at other cheerleader costumes.

I bought this for my daughter and when she tried it on I knew it was going to fall apart. The sleeves were made too small. The red, white and blure trim was unraveling everywhere. I had to sew the pieces at the cuffs to keeping them from falling off. I had to take away the poms-poms becasue everytime she played with them I would find little pieces of red, white , and blue paper all over the house. This is not very durable at all and not worth the [$]
