It was not easy to put together. Once we got it on him it was not real comfortable. I am happy that my son liked it, but he kept taking pieces of it off through the night. In short not what I had expected.

The shoulder plates for this costume did not want to stay on. The Velcro tabs kept getting covered by the straps for the chest plate.

The chest plate straps were too long considering the size of the rest of the costume and the Velcro did not really have anywhere to attach. I used safety pins to hold them in place.

I was exhausted by the time we got the whole thing on my son but all in all it is a very cool costume and pretty unique. Nobody else had the same costume at school or while we were out trick or treating. I think that is worth something!

The fabric portions of the costume were small in comparison to the plastic parts. The picture is misleading as there were no pants, and the eye holes were a series of very small cut outs which made it very difficult to see. Easily fixed with a pair of scissors. Lots of great comments from neighbors at trick or treat.

The costume is a little small and the chestplate came bent so it's a bit uncomfortable. The whole costume looks cool but overall I don't think it was worth it.

The great thing about this costume is the ability to layer clothing underneath. Cold weather Halloweens can be a challenge as the kids don't want to put a jacket over their costumes. My son will get the look he wants and I'll know he's relatively warm as he storms the neighborhood in search of treats. It runs a little on the small side, not the highest quality, but its a costume he'll have fun in even after trick or treating is over. Also, its a complete costume so no need to spend additional money on accessories to get the look pictured.

We have several Halloween events this year and I am afraid the costumes 'armor' will crack before Halloween. It is a little too bulky and difficult for my son to move around in as well.
I would suggest foam armor to allow flexibility in wear and storage. I am a bit disappointed in this one.

I bought this for my son because the presentation in the catalog was great. Unfortunately, do not judge a book by it's cover. Flimsy plastic,not flexible. The only thing that my son likes about the costume is the sword. NOT WORTH THE MONEY !!

This costume is very cheaply made!! It is way too expensive to be this cheap. The clothing underneath is too small for the size given. Huge mistake! Chalk it up to live and learn!!

costume runs very small. the fabric under the armor is cheap polyester. The armor is fun as wellas the belt

I bought this costume because of the fact it was made in America. However it is made in China. I hope there is no lead. Had I known I would have let my son have the costume he really wanted.
