The costume ripped right away and by the end of the night of Halloween, it was a mess. This is an expensive price for an outfit that cannot be worn again.

This was a cute costume, but my daughter only wore it one time before the fabric starting tearing along the seams. We sewed up the tears and it starting tearing in new places. The fabric is not holding up.

A great outfit that is appropriate for young children. My daughter won first prize in a costume contest wearing this costume and received compliments of how beautiful she looked in it all night long.

The kimono rippend in 5 places- along 3 seams at the bottom and both arm pits. Also, the button popped off. My daughter is 9 and the first rip occured 2 minutes after she put on the costume. We had to spend a lot of time sewing it by hand so that she could wear it on halloween

My daughter begged me for this costume for two months, it was the only halloween costume she wanted! A similar outfit was sent, but was just as beautiful. Made a great halloween outfit and I'm sure she'll use it for imaginative play later.

I purchased three costumes from your catalog - They all were very cute. This one was adorable - but my daughter wore it for the first time to a Halloween party and it ripped - as she bent over down the whole back - not too happy about this! I would assume the construction should uphold bending over :) .. Anyway - i guess my only alternative is to break out the needle and thread :( ..

Well made and good material. It looks just like the picture and our only issue was getting it over my daugher's big 'ole head! I would not recommned for a smaller child because of the sleeves, but mine is almost six & able to manouver well with them. She looks beautiful!

Although this is a very pretty costume, within one week of receipt, the seams on both sides have come apart in three different areas after one use. This is not a "cheap" costume, but is very cheaply made.

My daughter insisted on wearing it the first afternoon we received it. Within twenty minutes, the bottom seam and line seam were frayed and pulled apart. Now I have to fix it.

While the cut of the dress is good to keep cultural specific details in the costume (e.g. narrow walking stride), it may be difficult for some of our kids to use it without reminding them to modify their walk - and absolutely no running. The cut of the dress is not for little kids or for kids who have a large stride. Most kids I know play and run around enough on Halloween night - either at sponsored events or if they are running up to that house to doorbell, running and large activity happens.

I would recommend this costume with caveats. It is beautiful and culturally unique. If you have a girl who can walk slowly and use her creative imagination to play the part, it's a complete hit. Mine has a good imagination, but loves more action and that is why the bottom ripped.

My daughter loves the costume.... but

it was not at all like the picture and we were upset that we were not notified until the substitute costume arrived at our home. My child loves the outfit, so everything worked ok[...].

This costume is far more elegant than what I expected. When my daughter put it on, she simply looked adorable and quite exotic. It's made well and looks more expensive than what I paid for it.

Beautiful outfit. Purchased for a Halloween costume, but a different (but comparable) outfit was sent in it's place. The dress fits wonderfully and my daughter can't wait to wear it. The only con, the headpiece fell apart the minute we took it out of the bag. However, it's nothing a little needle, thread and hot glue can't rememdy!
