This dress is very pretty in the book. The quality was not as good as previous costume's I have bought through Lillian Vernon. If my daughter didn't like it as much as she does, I would have sent it back.

I purchased this costume for a Halloween. Minnesota tends to get pretty chilly that time of year. It will definitely be a warm costume for the evening, plus judging by its quality, it will make a wonderful dress-up outfit for some time to come!

It looked better in the picture than it did in real life! It was cheap material! It didn't poof out like it was supposed to because the ring to the "slip" underneath that is supposed to help it poof out, was distorted in the box & packaging [...]. [...]..the fur was sown on poorly around the collar and the wrists. I really expected a much prettier dress...especially for the price! [...]

My daughter loves this. [...] WARNING: Costumes run SMALL! Beyond that mild annoyance, my daugher does love the costume. It pretty-much looks exactly like what you see in the pic. The feathers do shed!! Nothing that a little tape doesn't fix. Because it has a hoop underskirt, the blue skirt keeps bouncing up and hanging such that it exposes the hoop underskirt. I had to "fix" this by sewing the blue skirt to the hoop underskirt -- a few basting-type stitches -- didn't take long. I had to pin it while my daughter was wearing it. Again, a bit of an annoyance, but overall the costume is worth it if your kid is happy.

Better quality than any others I have purchased from catalogs. After Halloween, my granddaughter will be able to use it for "dress up" because of the quality.
