I am glad that this was on sale otherwise I would of felt ripped off. This costume was cheep. It took hours to get the hat fixed so my daughter could wear it. Halloween customers generally are poorly cunstructed due to their use but for [$]this was absolut junk.

My 9 year old daughter is helping to write this reveiw because she was disappointed with this costume.

The costume did not look like the one pictured in the magazine. Its design was poor and raggedy. The hat was not well formed and the shoe covers did not stay in place over shoes and pants.

We felt that this costume should have included a sword.

My daughter loves the costume and it looks really cute on, except for the hat- which came in one crushed ball and you have to bend into shape. After many tries at fixing-it still looks a mess!

The costume is a big hit at our house. We did find another hat. Wore it so much the first month we ordered a second one for Halloween. Living in Florida it was a nice light weight material, most costumes are to heavy and the kids melt in them.

Stylish design. The fabric is delicate, but works great for the style and fit of the costume. My 9 year old daughter loves it. It's got the trendy, fashion feel without the trashy look of too many costumes. Great for the tween. Shaping the hat is an issue, but it is doable.

I was nervous when I read the reviews AFTER I bought this costume for my 10 year old that HAD to have the outfit. It fits her perfect and the hat is not difficult as long as you realize that it is supposed to be in a triangle shape! Great costume! I will return next year for the next "have to have" costume!

The costume looks adorable in the picture, but it is very flimsy, the hat is a joke. Our costume was missing the belt. I had my friend make the costume instead & that was well worth the money. This costume also runs very small.

The picture of the costume is real cute. We were not happy that the picture seems to have nicer material used. The buttons are cheap and i do not expect this item to last. So I guess looks in photo are slightly decieving for the cost + shipping. Don't expect too much I guess- And the Hat, forget about it! For Halloween it will be fine.

Costume is not exactly like the picture. Not worth the money. It runs small, the hat is impossible to get into the right shape and the buttons dont stay buttoned. My daughter does like it and looks great in it. Fabric is flimsy and wont be warm enough for her on Halloween night.

My daughter had to have this costume for Halloween. I was very dissapointed in the quality of the material and how thin it was. The outfit was purchased as a Holloween costume for our 3.5 year old daughter. Of course she wanted to play with it right away. She's played with it 4 times and the belt is already fallen off (it is sewn into the top). I wish the belt was not attached but overall the costume is adorable on her.

I totally agree with the other reviewer that the HAT is JUST NOT worthy of this costume set. It arrives in a circle-like form, and as much as we try, we can NOT get this to look like the pic. Even my husband, who cares NOTHING about costumes, suggested that I maybe BUY her a separate pirate hat. The hat is THAT awful! Otherwise, the Elizabeth costume is great, for the intention it was made for! My daughter LOVES IT, and I LOVE that she won't be some kind of Princess again! ;)

its a very cute costume. My daughter cant wait to wear it for Halloween. However, we were very disappointed with the hat, It was all smashed and i am still trying to make it look good. The ad in the book makes the hat look very durable, but the hat is very flimsy and wrinkled and i am still trying to get it smoothed out. i dont know how it will wash, since i havent washed it yet, but i can tell it looks like it could fall apart easily. It was rather pricey for what we got.
