My daughter who is very picky about her Halloween costumes, loved this as did her grandparents and many of the neighbors. It was comfortable, she wore it for a many hour party, school parade and trick or treating in the neighborhood. I just had to make the pants shorter and it was easy to adjust and have it still look good. I would recommend to anyone with a girl in the 7-9 range.

This is costume is very soft and well made. The coat has a built in front panel to cover the chest. No undershirt needed! My 7-year-old daughter is not too girly, and she totally loves the costume. Would like an adult size for myself.

This Halloween costume is for my 8 year old. It is better constructed than I expected - which was a great surprise! The pants are a bit short - girls of average height that are 10, or 11 will probably need to wear their own black pants.

What a great costume! It actually runs alittle small, so definitely go with the next size up even if you are not entirely sure. It is alot easier to pin up then try to make it stretch!!

My daughter saw the costume in the catalog and "had to have it" for Halloween. I bought it early because I was afraid they would run out. She loves it! I was a little disappointed that the description didn't exactly match the costume. It is not black velvet. It is black nylon. Like I said, my 7 year old really loves it though.
