As other reviews said, this was a flimsy, not well made costume. My daughter insisted on it, but it barely lasted an hour. The lettering was impossible to read and fell off right away. The whole belt fell off next. The top was small and way too short - my daughter had to wear a shirt under it. This is definitely not worth the price.

This costume was a huge disappointment. First of all, the colors are off. The skirt is not lighter pink, but is the same color as the top. In the pic, it looks like it would be fitted for about six inches at the top of the skirt, but it is just an elastic gathered waste which changes the look. The belt hung down below my daughter's knees and really is not a belt at all. It is made of silver string and very flimsy letters that fell off within an hour. The cuff bracelet is fastened with velcro, but the velcro is attached with hot glue which tore away when we tried to put it on. The top is wide and very short, exposing the stomach. The skirt is WAY too long and my daughter is tall.
I consider this costume a huge waste of money. Usually old costumes go in the dress up box, but after two hours of trick or treating this costume is going in the trash.

My daughter REALLY, REALLY wanted this for Halloween. She is into everything pink and beautiful. When we took it out of the box, one of the letters for DIVA had fallen off the belt and a piece of velcro for the bracelet had fallen off too. I had to repair this before she even wore it! The skirt was a bit big for her, but it was easy for me to take in the waist a bit. After wearing this for the first time to a costume party (with no rough play), the silver belt fell off, another letter from DIVA fell off and the top came apart from the strap. (The belt and bracelet were only glued to the outfit.) After completing my alterations and sewing the top, belt and bracelet back together, I felt that I may as well have made the outfit myself. The only reason I spent the time putting it back together was because my daughter really loved it and felt like a "movie star." So... my overall review is that for a girlie-girl like my daughter, the design is perfect - but have your sewing kit ready for the inevitable repairs you'll need to complete if you want to wear it for more than an hour.

Adorable costume. Received many compliments. However, it ripped the first time she wore it. As I was sewing it I noticed that all the seems were "ready to give". Also, it would have been nice to have the gloves.

Save your money and do not buy this costume. I read the other reviews before buying the costume and figured they had a bad experience. Well the joke was on me. The skirt was ok as other reviewers have said, the belt around the waist is made of cheap material and the DIVA letters are a joke. I ordered this costume in a size bigger then my child wears normally. The skirt fit fine but when we got to the top it was impossible to get over her head.

There was absolutely no room for even a smaller head to go through. The top according to the description was to have straps but there was NO straps. So now less then a week before Halloween, we have to figure out a way to make this top work by cutting it and re-stitching it.

The skirt and top are nice. I wish it came with gloves, scarf and crown. I hate when they show the picture, but accessories sold separately. It's part of the costume, so it should all be sold together-as ONE outfit.

Diva outfit was very good idea, but just didn't look as well in person as in the catalog. Not our first choice of dress up costumes!

My 5 year old daughter feel in love with this outfit & it is not nearly as cute as the picture. First of all, it did not fit correctly, the shirt is very short and the skirt is huge. I am going to have to buy a pink long sleeve top just to hide her chest/tummy from showing. The fuzzy color is not as fuzzy in real life. The "Diva" chain is poorly constructed & broke the second time she wore it. I wanted to return it to get my money back, but she really wanted to wear it. So I locked up until Halloween so it does not break or tear in any more places.

The costume is cute and attractive, but the picture in the catalog is very deceptive since it is pictured with long matching gloves. However, the gloves do not come with the costume AND are not sold separately. My daughter is heartbroken!

My daughter fell in love with this, but when we got it home - awful! The skirt barely made it over her skinny hips but was way too long - not sure who it's made for. The top was so short there's no way I'd let her go around with that much belly sticking out. The belt hung almost to her knees, not tightly around her hips like in the photo. The velcro ripped off the bracelet as soon as she put it on. And frankly, I think it's poor to model it with gloves that don't come with it. I had to take it away from my crying daughter and promise her that Mommy will make one instead. I was very disappointed.

All though it is a pretty outfit and my daughter loves it, the material is not worth the [$]. I would wait and by it when it is on sale if you really wanted it. I don't know if she will be able to play with it after Halloween is over because of the flimsy material. Looks like it will rip and fray easily. The design and color and ideas of the outfit is really nice.

We purchased two of the Mega Movie Star Costumes for our twin five year old granddaughters in San Rafael, Ca. They were supposed to be for Halloween but the girls couldn't wait!! They have enjoyed the costumes tremendously while play acting around the house. Thanks for a fun product. Hopefully this has also freed up some extra time for Mom to spend with their two year old brother and ten month old sister!

I really like the concept, but the poor construction overshadowed the costume. One of the stiches came out of the top and I had to sew it back on. Both "chains" that goes over the shoulders broke before she was able to get the outfit completely on.
