My daughter loved this costume in the catalog , however when we recieved it we were disappointed. The green is not a brillant green, it is an olive green so there really isn't any contrast. Also in the design the fabric is cut to zig zag, her cosutme was all striaght edge. We are disappointed.

[...] the green is not vibrant like in the picture. It's more of a moss green. Also, the cape isn't jagged and there isn't a green stripe on the hat. The hat is a bit small but the rest of the costume fit great. Definitely need the green makeup for face and hands.

I bought this costume for my 5 year old. The green is more of a dark, army green which my daughter likes better. The insides of the sleeves have crinoline that is a little scratchy against her arms but she'll wear a turtle neck under it on Halloween. The band of cloth around the hat is out of place so I will remove it and sew it on myself. In general, it's OK.

Our three year old is obsessed with the "green witch" in The Wizard of Oz...that is what she wants to be for halloween this year.So, after going to all the Halloween stores, discount stores, you name it...we found this witch costume with green on it...It is a Wiz of Oz brand costume thus the authenticity..But, like the last reviewer stated, The green is a drab olive color and not the bright green color on the website...My daughter was a little disapointed, but I assured her it was exactly like the one her favorite green witch wears. Most likely we will keep it..She doesn't seem to like the ones she sees in the stores..plus, it was fun for her to get it in the mail.

My daughter was very excited to be the wicked witch of the west -- the costume is great, but they green parts do not stand out as much as they do in the picture (the green color is not a bright green) -- you really need to add your own green make-up for face and hands - otherwise it looks like a regular witch costume
