My 4 year old LOVED this when it arrived. It's heavy & seems durable; however, the loops that hold the ax & flashlight are not. The weight of the flashlight made the loop sag & then begin to tear the coat...even though the ax is light, that loop did the same. The coat would have held up great if I didn't use the loops... I wish I never showed them to him. The boot covers look super but are cheap, thin plastic...they should be made of the heavier vinyl of the coat. We needed to use black electrical tape to "fix" the boots & loops. It is now just for play but cannot be used for future Halloween's by my younger children. The hat was really sturdy the accessories were also a big hit! Overall, a great costume that just needs some changes.

We purchased this for a Halloween costume. When we compared it to the fireman costumes at the local discount stores, the quality was WAY WAY better. All the little extras that came with it were lots of fun. Since it was for Halloween, the flashlight came in handy as a safety tool, and the fireman's bag was perfect to put the candy in! The boot covers were kinda shaped funny and didn't fit over his shoes, but we just got him a pair of rubber boots and went around them with reflective tape, so now when it rains he wears his fireman rubber boots!

We bought this for Halloween, but my 3-year old son is having lots of fun dressing up and going to the rescue! I love all the accessories included - the axe, flashlight, gloves, badge, bag and walkie-talkie. My son especially loves the flashlight that really works.We're very happy with our purchase and highly recommend for your rescue hero.

My four year old son loves this! He wore it to a party yesterday and on the way home FIREMEN stopped us to ask where he got such an authentic looking costume! They wanted this outfit for their kids!! I have a younger boy and think this outfit is druable enough that he may get to grow into it as well.

This is very cute but it is so stiff and hot that my son can only wear it for a few minutes at a time. We had to find a different costume to go to a party because he would be able to have this on inside for long.

My son loved the costume and consequently tried it on several times. The jacket is sturdy, though it looks horribly uncomfortable. The boot covers ripped after two tries of putting them on. The gloves are ridiculously oversized as I have large hands and they are too big for me. I hid them after several frustrated attempts for my son to keep them on his hands. I do like the thought that went into the costume/accessories and plan to use them with a homemade jacket/pants and boot covers that I will make for him using these as a model. Bottom line, your child will love it, however, be prepared to replace the boot covers and possibly jacket with something else. Would recommend with caveats.

What a great product! My 4 yr old is sooo exicited for Halloween. He puts this costume on every day! I know that it will be worn by my 5 month old when he gets older...great costume!

For the price, I was extremely pleased with this costume. It also came with accessories - which was a bonus. My son loves it and wears his costume all the time. Very durable and will last for a long time.

My boys, 4 and 2, love being firemen. But until this dress up set, the firemen hats they had did not stay on their heads because they were not adjustable. This hat adjusts, the coat actually closes, the "boots" go over existing shoes and with all of the accessories, my kids have a blast putting out "3 alarm fires" on a daily basis. For the price, you cannot beat it. When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised - I would have expected to pay much more for this quality. The best part is that the whole set packs up into the fire bag so nothing gets lost and it stores easily.

Our grandson was in heaven when he opened this package, he put it on and would not take it off-- he even played fire fighter with his two sisters.
