I needed extra storage space for toys in the living room but didn't want to use plastic bins or anything that looked too toyboxish. These trunks are beautiful, provide the extra space that I need, are strong enough to handle four small children, and are versatile. (We sometimes use them as small coffee tables, for example.) Just be aware that if you use them as toyboxes, the hinges are not safety hinges. Please watch out for small fingers.

We were hesitant to spend so much on these sight unseen. However we were looking for an end table with storage for our study that doubles as a guest bedroom, so these were very reasonable when compared to a table. We were pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They are nice looking, of high quality, and provide ample storage for our guest linens. Two standard pillows in a Space bag fit into the small trunk when folded in half. The lightweight blanket and sheets fit easily into the large trunk. We stacked them and placed them next to our couch with a serving tray on top. They make a great end table, and plenty of discreet storage as well.
