I bought this to start a vine growing on it. It is very unsturdy and will not withstand the slightest gust of wind. I tried burying the bottom legs 6 inches in the ground and it still falls over. I would recommend leaving either the top tier or bottom tier off.

I loved this in the catolog, however where I wanted to place it was hard clay filled ground, so I used it where I could get it in the ground, and close to the house as our winds here in Reno would damage it. Also needs to be secured in ground or again damage could occur. Very easy to assemble, over all I love it and have recommended this item to fellow gardeners.

I left off the bottom legs and used as a plant hanger on my porch. I have a small kitten that digs up my house plants and this was ideal without drilling holes in my roof. As long as I distributed the weight evenly it works.
