I love the look of this product and it's so cute with flowers in it. However, this item would be best if you start with very small bedding plants or from seeds and do not fill with soil up to the top. When I water my flowers (which were from 3" containers and therefore required dirt up that high), dirt runs down the sides of the planters.

Ihave been looking for an attractive one for a long time. I put herbs in mine and then I can just go out and snip them for cooking. I will say it also could be used for anything on your table when your serving snacks or dinner outside. Use your imagination.

Nice product. There are no drainage holes but I added terra cotta chips on the bottom and it worked well. You can also use packing peanuts. I've had a lot of compliments.
