This is an attractive piece. I was so excited to hand it and add a touch of class to the front of the house. I sprayed painted it black to match the shutters on the house. However, to my surprise when I went to hang it, there were no hooks to hang it??? I was and still am pretty dissappointed. It is back in the box and I still don't have an address sign. Any ideas on how to hang it?

I expected more for the price. I thought the lettering would be a bright White on a black background, but instead it appears to be a Light Gray, on a Dark Gray background; so there's not enough contrast, and the lettering does not show up well at all.

With the removable oval resin, I have turned it over and added some mid size letters and added PARTY on the back and when the party is done I turn it back around! So you get 2 for one really! Great Deal to buy!

This would have been a great sign if the numbers would have been centered as pictured. I chose to have the number without a street name thinking they would be larger than pictured, not only were they not larger they were not centered. Ruined the entire look.

I bought this for my grandparents, and was very happy with the quality and price. In fact, I keep hoping it will go on sale so I can get one for myself. The lettering is (obviously) not going to be as nice as the fancy outdoor signs you can have professionally engraved from places [...]t... but those are also much more expensive, so for the price, this is really great!

I purchased this for myself. It was on the side of my house, under a covered porch, beside my front door, for a week and it fell apart. Completely shattered while hanging up. The only piece still on the wall was the piece of metal holding it up across the top. And the numbers were too small for the space.

I was worried that the house numbers wouldn't be visible from the street so I improvised. After ordering a unpersonalized plaque, I bought numbers from the home improvement store (4"). I then went to the glass store and had them cut a piece of plexiglass the size of the inner oval so the numbers could sit on it..... w/o plexiglass the numbers would not fit the space. It can be readily seen from the street and looks great. Love the product in every way except for this problem which I resolved. Very attractive so worth the extra effort.

I ordered this with my house number and street name. It looks beautiful on the front of my home. Engraving is clear and easy to read. Neighbors and friends have all complimented me from the moment I hung it and they couldnt believe the price! It looks much more expensive.

Pretty heavy and very nice design. This does not look like it only costs [$]. I gave the address part a few coats of clear coat just to make sure it would be okay out in the weather. You have to buy your own brackets to hang it because none are included. Our letters are visible from the street. We live about 35 feet off the street though.

I was excited about this product. The font shown in the picture is different than the font I have printed on mine. It is no larger than 3" tall. I only had my house numbers printed on the sign and you can not read it from the street.

Be careful with the personalization. They did not set up the letters as I requested and I had to black out the last letter, so now the address is slightly off-center. Sloppy.

This is a really cute design but it doesn't come with any hardware to hang it, the writing isn't viewable from the street and the white paint comes off the writing fairly easy. For [$] you get a cute little plaque because that is more or less what it is! I don't recommend this for anything other than a welcome sign.

Beautiful presentation but unfortunately no mounting hardware or mechanism is included so it was difficult to hang. Also, lettering space is very brief for the suggested use - I'm lucky my street name is short. Would have bought it for others as a gift but couldn't fit their street names or surnames on the sign.

i live in a city. the distance between my house and the sidewalk is about 14 feet. this sign is perfect for that distance. it is just big enough not to be flashy.i have it set against a wall of rocks it blends in in a nice fashion but is visible and looks like it was installed when the house was built in 1909

It was nice to find a fairly inexpensive address sign that would allow enough space for our very long address but the quality of the sign is not the highest. The address plaque was slightly warped and there was no hardware to hang it on the house. I wished the letters/numbers were larger but overall the sign is okay for the price.

Love the look, exactly what I was looking for, but when I opened the package my white lettering was chipped so I fixed it with some white out. Two things I did not like was there is no hardware on the back to hang it and I cracked the wood trying to add my own. Second, my street name was longer than allowed so I had to just put my street numbers on, didn't like that part.

This item is very attractive but I was dissapointed in how small the numbers are on it. It is a short distance from our porch to the street and you really can't see them very well. They appear much larger in the picture than they actually are.

There are no hangers to hang this plaque, which is rather odd. The scrolls were slightly unaligned on my plaque, but I snapped off the diamond shaped ends and that seemed to have helped with giving it a more symmetrical appearance.

Overall, it is a great price and if you can find your own hangers, you should consider purchasing it.

I recently ordered this sign after looking elsewhere. Similar signs were a bit costly and I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. My sign contains the phrase...CIRCA 1897... and the capital letters and the numbers were the exact same size. I was able to hang the sign on a wrought iron hanger (ground stake) I already had and it is quite visible as quests walk up my driveway. The detail is nice and I had no problem with the plaque being warped or inserting it in it's holder. Very nice for the money!!!

I thought it looked very nice..but the metal bends easily and the top scroll section actually came apart as soon as I pulled it out of the box. I had to glue it back together with super glue. NOt the best quality, but for the price it does look very nice.

Agree with other reviews in that the center insert is slightly warped, but this is not viewable once installed on wall.

Be careful ordering capital letters for your street combined with numbers -- the letters dwarf the numbers considerably.

Overall, a heavy, sturdy piece that looks great from a distance.

The center insert with the house number on it is warped and the ends do not sit flat, so the brackets that hold it in do not fit properly. Also the numbers are not big enough.
