Hand-cast planter is so lifelike! Giant clam shell looks like a Tahitian treasure! Unique as a planter - exotic decor on its own. Hand-cast resin composite is all hand-painted, amazingly detailed. The outside is textured with the same striations you'd find on a genuine shell. The interior glows like iridescent mother of pearl. Plant directly inside, drain hole on bottom.

I saw yrs ago a clam shell at a church that was filled with fresh flowers and changed every week for the services, Now I have it. This planter is so wonderful, fresh flowers, out in the yard, as a silverware holder for our large family reunions. Thank you for fulling a long a time desire for this clam shell.

I was disappointed with the color of the planter I received as it was a dark vanilla color and not the pale off white shown in the picture. The size was very nice. I decided to keep it rather than deal with a return as it was acceptable and blended satisfactorily with my decor. I just would have truly loved it had the color been what was shown in the picture and more of what I expect to find on the beach.

THIS IS A GREAT DECORATING ELEMENT AND COULD SERVE MANY PURPOSES INSIDE AS WELL AS OUT. I HAVE IT ON MY FRONT PORCH ONE ON EACH SIDE OF THE DOOR WITH PLANTS INSIDE. WHILE I THINK THEY LOOK FAUX,THEY LOOK LIKE VERY NICE HIGH END PLANTERS FROM A BOTIQUE. I LOVE THE WAY THEY LOOK ALL TOGHER BUT THE MRS THINK THEY WOULD LOOK NICER ALL WHITE.

I ordered 2 of these several years ago and they look as good as new. I have one outside as a planter and one inside my master bath with extra towels rolled in it. They are sturdy and versatile. I love them!

I am using this on my dinning table as a centerpiece fill with folded napkins,sea shell spheres,mutiple glass tea lights, flowers, and on and on which are really attractive for a summer table. Haven't tried for a planter yet. To many other uses for it at this time. Great buy have priced these in other catalogs,might have been be a real shell but this one looks just as great. Great size too. Thanks
