We were using it in a haunted barn, but the volume was to low cannot seem to be able to adjust it, we plan to return it. Thanks the other items where great.

Can't completely control strobe to where it resembles lightening and the sound effects are not even loud enough or clear enough to tell it's thunder. Not to mention that the thunder doesn't match the strobe. [...]

Light was not very bright. This is really a strobe light rather than "lightning" with realistic gaps between flashes. Box says indoor use only. Volume not very loud and no option to turn down or off the sounds. The option to output to an external amplifier would have been a bonus. I returned the unit. For bargain hunters, I located what looks to be the same unit at half the price in [...].

Great strobe. Could not find where to turn the sound off, but the thunder did sound great. Loved the size of the stobe, it really added to our graveyard.
