The bones do look like actual bones but are very light weight styrofoam. They don't come with anything to anchor them with so if the wind blows.. so do they. For what you get I think they are much too pricey. [...] Even with that said, they do look good in my graveyard scene for Halloween!

From the pictures and first glance out of the package was very happy. But once i opened them i was somewhat disappointed. Very light and styrofoam type material which dents easily and paint Flakes off. Recommend painting them with a Clear polymer paint to make them more durable .

This skeleton looks great!!! It's very lifelike. However, I was surprised at how lightweight it is. I wouldn't put it outside in anything but dry weather and it will need to be tightly secured or it could blow away. I do love it though! It adds a wonderful scary feel to my Halloween decor!

In my courtyard I have a perfect square of just dirt and rock where I can put seasonal plants, etc. I saved a branch from a dead tree that fell in a windstorm and put it in there for the birds to look at the bones. How fun. Can't wait for the kiddies. Of course I have the hanging ghosts and other "frightening" things but my favorite are the bones.

As long as you use the hooks designed to secure them to the ground, they work just fine. This is my second purchase and they look fantastic in my front yard display!!

This again, like the "lifesize" skeleton, is not an outdoor decor. It is a very cheap, light weight foam. Expects at least plastice for the price. In an attempt to be more "real" this product is NOT durable. Also, picture indicates skull has a jaw - our jaw was stuffed up into the top of the skull. Will make do but would not recommend unless it is going to sit in a display OUT OF THE WEATHER. It will blow away.
