These stepping stones looked very nice when first put out. Two years later I have the stones all over the yard and only netting left. Not worth the money.

I have used these as a path over mulch in an area that was hard to reach before in the garden. I have not had any problems with the stones and they settle into the mulch nicely so you don't trip over the edges. Pleasantly surprised to find out they were real rock. I was actually expecting a resin composite.

. I have ordered these stepping stones three or four times before in the last couple of years, and they have always been quite satisfactory. However, these last two sets were poorly made and the stones started falling off of the backing as soon as they arrived. Several stones were already missing or had never been attached. It was the worst shipment I had ever received and I was very disappointed.

I live in a townhouse with a fenced patio; got these on sale to cover the area between the patio and fence where we're not allowed to grow stuff but is always full of weeds. I put them down side by side with the cardboard backing still on; can place potted plants on them wherever I want. Weeds are making small inroads this second summer, but I can keep them gone without much trouble. I love this solution, and it looks great.

I absolutely love my path of stepping stones. Yes, you need to maintain them by removing them BEFORE you mow your lawn. It's good exercise as each one weights 4 lbs. I had them down all summer and every weekend I picked them up before the lawn was mowed; and put them back after. All the stones are still in place. I'm very satisfied with the product and want to order more.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Real Stone or Pebble Stepping-Stones:
These stones are lovely when first placed and last an entire summer, then weeds grow thru and no matter how often you cut them, the stones fall away (not good for stepping stones) and you have just the netting left. Nice product but needs alot of work. Spent over $1500.00 to cover an area in our front yard and to last only one summer was very dissappointing.
