This really is a pretty switchplate. I knew my grandaughter would love it, as her favorite color is purple, & her room is butterfly everything! However, as mentioned in many reviews, the plate is too wide for the apparently normal gap between room switch & door frame. The manufacturer should take heed & redesign the wings to a narrower width. We would love an exchange for such!!

Love it!! High quality!! So easy my 5yr old daughter installed it herself!!. My only problem is that the butterfly wings are just a tiny bit to wide to fit between the switch location and the door jam. Not a product flaw, just that the switch was too close to the door to lay flat against the wall.

This a cute item. The only thing is that my light switch is a little closer to the door frame molding, so it was a tight fit. Thus, measure the area where it will go before you purchase this item.

Measure switch to molding first!

Product is cute, but does not fit over switch plates close to door molding. It is too wide and will not work. If switch is more than 3" from door molding - it is perfect!

I purchased this switch plate for my daughter's room. Her switch is next to the door frame and this butterfly was a little too wide to fit in that place! Be careful.

I truly love the switchplate, but I have to pass it on to a niece. My daughter's door frame is too close to the light switch, so the butterfly switchplate does not fit. Too bad, because I really love it. It's a beautiful design for any little girl's room!

The colors coordinated well with the decor in the girls room, and they love the cute touch the switchplate added. So easy to install, just need a screwdriver, they helped and we are so proud. Seems sturdy enough, and hopefully will be easy to clean. But for the price, what a bargain!
