I personally was pleased that these glasses were thicker than the picture shows because it will keep my hot beverages warm longer. The price is unbeatable, I couldn't get these mugs momogrammed for the price I paid here anywhere else. Some of the glasses have a seam going through them. It wouldn't bother me so much if the seam was near the handle but some of the seams are a straight line starting from the top of the glass to the bottom of the glass. Over all it is a nice, large, thick glass mug with the exceptions of a few pits in the glass and seam lines in some of the mugs.
