I love the design of this product however this product was not designed well to fit on an ironing board. It does not have elastic around the edges of the fabric so that the cover securely fits on the board. It has one fabric string that you tie underneath the ironing board to secure it. This does not work! Additional ties, elastic or velcro is needed to secure this product so the cover does not come off or move with the clothing item you are ironing.

It was too short for my ironing board. The strap underneat easily broke off when I tried to tie it. I had to return this item.

I would not recommend this ironing board cover as it has no attachment for the end of board and doesn't stay on the board at all. I would love to find one that has elastic ALL around it, not just the sides. I can't use this one.

I bought the ironing pad to replace the ironing board, which I really did not use is much because it was a pain to pull out and set up everytime I needed it. The ironing pad can be laid on the dining room table or on the bed - you could also take it with you traveling for the weekend if needed as you can fold it and lay it flat in your suitcase.
