This is a great keepsake! I have ordered these every year for the past 5 years for each new child in my family! They are in cute wooden boxes that are engraved with personalization instead of marker like other ornaments. The ornament is adorable and unique and has beads inside so it really rattles. I have not gotten one with "flimsy" wood, they have all been the same.[$].Don't pass this purchase by, it is a great gift for the price. It has been a hit every time.

The ornament was beautiful, however, the box was flimsy. The quality of wood was very poor. I had ordered the same product for my first daughter, and it was much better then. This box will not last!

This is the 3rd year buying the Baby's First Christmas ornament from LV. They make a PERFECT gift for Baby's 1st Christmas. I love the delicate handpainted rattle for baby's first Christmas, however, the writing on the ornament is very messy and not professional looking...very smudged. I was let down when I opened the beautifully etched box to find such a low quality ornament to represent a baby's first Christmas.

The ornament was nice, but everything about the keepsake box was cheap, from the unfinished slivery wood, the "velvety" insert, and the very crooked personalization, including not capitalizing one of my son's names! A very big disappointment.

The ornament itself was beautiful, the box it came with is a perfect keepsake to keep your ornament safe. I gave it to my best friend for my god daughter and she loved it. I wish they had these when my son was born!

My son got this as a present for his first Christmas and is 3 years old now and loves knowing that he has his very own special ornament. It has held up very good over the few years and we love the personalized storage case lined with velvet. Excellent value.

I purchased this ornament for my great-grandson's first Christmas last year. His parents love it and it has it's own special place very near the top of the tree. I can only image he will be passing this beauty on to his own first child someday. Absolutely gorgeous.

I have bought two sets of these ornaments and am about to buy another for a soon-to-be born granddaughter. I always "tweak" the ornaments a bit, adding names, etc. in gold or silver ink and maybe a few more bits of fine glitter. The box is nice, but I did a little sanding on a few edges to get rid of potential slivers.

I bought this ornament in pink two years ago for my baby daughter. It's so precious... I love it. And have received TONS of compliments. Looks great on the tree and it even "rattles" when you shake it. TOO CUTE! The protective box is great too. I had it personalized with baby's name and the year of her first Christmas. It's sure to become a family heirloom. I had a second baby this past year so I am back to buy the blue one for him. I am so happy and fortunate they had this for sale still two years later! Now both my children have beautiful keepsakes from their babyhood.
